In the second episode of "Blind Sherlock," Kirill and Umut are arrested, sparking a heated discussion between Roman and Caro as they contemplate baby names. Roman, overcome by the news that the police have no leads despite the arrests, is particularly distressed to learn that Amaya Graauw, the child who was shot, has lost her eyesight. He insists on joining the interrogation, which proves effective as Umut breaks down when Roman speaks of an innocent girl caught in the crossfire.

We uncover that Umut became a mole after his family was threatened by the ruthless Uzbek Beatles, a gang that controls the Rotterdam port, through which all illegal goods enter Western Europe. The leaders are given Beatles nicknames, but after "John Lennon" stole a container worth 100 million from "Paul McCartney," the gang split into two factions. Umut only knows that Yaqub, a real estate broker, is "George Harrison," and McCartney's right-hand man. It seems that Kirill and the two bikers work under Yaqub, while the deceased worker was on Lennon's side.
Nico is hurt by Umut's betrayal but promises to protect him. Roman tries to reason that Umut didn't have a choice, but Nico counters that once one is involved with the gang, there is no escape. This weighs heavily on Roman, who takes to boxing as a coping mechanism.
The taskforce begins to wiretap Yaqub's office, car, and house. They face trouble when Yaqub's wife returns unexpectedly. Fortunately, Roman distracts her by acting lost in the street, allowing the taskforce to flee.
Without Umut, the task force enlists Meryem as their new Uzbek interpreter. Roman initially resists, as a flashback reveals he may have been responsible for a boating accident that left her nearly drowned.
The relentless red-jacketed thug continues his campaign to become Roman's mole, trying various tactics ranging from bribery to threatening even his guide dog, Sam. However, Roman remains unyielding in his refusal to be compromised.
As Roman ventures into a parenting class tailored for the visually impaired, his mind is plagued with other troubles. When the instructor inquires about his motivations, he is lost in thought, a distant memory of dropping his nephew and the ensuing panic flashing through his mind. His fear of being an inadequate father lingers, though he refrains from voicing it aloud.
Returning to the present, Meryem and Roman embark on a journey to listen and translate Yaqub's intercepted audio recordings. The snippets are scarce, but Roman discovers that Yaqub is a devoted father who goes to great lengths for his son. Eventually, they uncover a clip where Yaqub expresses annoyance that the bikers targeted the girl instead of Frank, the driver of an orange car. The police realize that the girl's death was accidental and that Frank was the true target all along. They decide to monitor Frank after discovering weapons in his car. Tess keeps a watchful eye on Umut while Nico drives over to interrogate him about Frank.
At home, Caro is hesitant around Meryem but is relieved that Roman is excelling in his investigation. However, this moment is shattered when Roman's guide dog, Sam, is poisoned. Simultaneously, an accident is faked outside Umut's residence. While Tess secures assistance, someone points a gun at Umut. Tess senses something amiss and rushes inside with Nico, who has just arrived.
Caro attempts to save Sam but fails as he flatlines. Roman realizes that the assailant had poisoned his loyal companion. The situation becomes increasingly dire as each moment passes, painting a vivid picture of a complex and dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.
