The seventh episode of "Bloody Flower" commences with Han-jun pleading with Woo-gyeom to save his daughter, Min-seo. Woo-gyeom agrees, but demands Han-jun's trust in return. With Professor Han presumably murdered, he requires Han-jun's assistance in escaping.

Professor Han has finally been apprehended and brought to Chairman Chae Jeong-su. He promises to help create an independent cure, but they need to halt Woo-gyeom's progress. At the current rate, he can only cure ten more people, and the more blood he draws, the more he transforms. It is finally revealed that the experiment Han conducted on Woo-gyeom was with Chae Jeong-hun's assistance. Han begs Jeong-su not to waste his father's efforts, but Jeong-su is unmoved. He orders Shin Ho-chang to execute Professor Han.
Elsewhere, Prosecutor Cha meets with Chief Pyo, Assemblyman Baek's chief of staff. She seeks to understand why Cha is so obsessed with Woo-gyeom and if she can be of use to him. She deduces that he leaked intel about Woo-gyeom being a victim because he wants to take down Assemblyman Baek, who is somehow involved. In exchange for his safety, he reveals how the search for the incurable cure began with Jeong-su's father, Professor Chae Jeong-hun.
A flashback shows the first test subject of the illegal experiment being baby Chae Jeong-su. At present, he removes his shirt, revealing several surgical scars, suggesting his father kept experimenting on him. He meets with Woo-gyeom, who knows that every time he draws blood, the newly replenished blood becomes less effective. He wonders how soon his blood will stop being the cure. Cheum cannot create an independent cure without him and his blood, so they need to let him continue his experimentation.
The episode cuts to Woo-gyeom being transferred to Hana Hospital to treat a patient with a rare case. Meanwhile, Prosecutor Cha assigns her two assistants to review Cheum's audit reports and question former researchers. They discover that the "clinical trials" were never approved and guardian consent forms were forged. A whistleblower exposed them when a patient died under Dr. Song's care. The then district attorney, Assemblyman Baek, ordered the then prosecutor, Director Oh, to give a lenient sentence and wrap up the case.
Moreover, Min-gyeong discovers that Baek used Professor Chae's name to establish a shell company and raise campaign funds. With this information in hand, Prosecutor Cha threatens to expose Director Oh unless he signs search warrants for Assemblyman Baek and Cheum Medical Center.
The scene shifts to the treatment. One of the guards accompanying Woo-gyeom is bribed by Professor Han. With his assistance, Han-jun sneaks into Hana Hospital. We learn that Han has also bribed hospital security, who cut the power as soon as Woo-gyeom finishes his treatment. The hospital goes on lockdown, but it's too late. Woo-gyeom disables his ankle monitor and escapes with Han-jun.
However, Shin Ho-chang has been following Han-jun, and a car chase ensues. Han-jun and Woo-gyeom plan to meet Jae-hee and Min-seo for the little girl's treatment. Unfortunately, Shin crashes his car into Han-jun's. Woo-gyeom is seriously injured and bleeding out. Han-jun calls Reporter Jo, who holds off Cheum's henchmen until Woo-gyeom and Han-jun escape.
They arrive where Min-seo and Jae-hee are waiting. The couple wants to treat Woo-gyeom's injury first, but he refuses. He's barely conscious, and after he injects Min-seo with his blood, he passes out.
Meanwhile, there's an emergency meeting where the Cheum board blames Jeong-su for losing Woo-gyeom, tanking their stocks, Assemblyman Baek's arrest, and the raid at Cheum. And we see that the head of the board is none other than Chairman Cha, Prosecutor Cha Yi-yeon's father. Jeong-su asks for a day to fix things, but after he leaves, Chairman Cha declares that he will handle things himself.
