The narrative commences with Annie awakening in the depths of the hole, finding herself surrounded by a cryptic array of coffins. As she ascends a gnarled tree root to escape, a tumble sends her tumbling down, prompting her to follow a serpentine stream of water leading to a pile of rocks. Beneath the pile, she discovers a hidden grate and, as she peers into the darkness, she begins her descent while Ace's lifeless body remains above.
Annie continues to traverse a damp hallway until she reaches a medieval tower. Creeping above, she pushes open a trapdoor and finds herself in a room adorned with graffiti. As she continues, a tent in the living room is accompanied by two individuals engaged in intimate activities in the bedroom. Spotting her, Annie hustles out the front door before they can interrogate her, finding herself in the Marsten Estate, some distance from the construction site.
After her ordeal, Annie heads back, and we witness flashes of her meticulously fixing up the grave site once again. However, it turns out she lost her necklace in the chaos and takes it out on Joy, who slams the door in her face.
