As a gesture of atonement to Leo, he reveals a prime city location for relocating the foundation.

Yet, Leo declines Marcos' proposition for multiple compelling reasons. He's hesitant to disrupt the children's lives and is acutely aware of Marcos' fraudulent past, doubting his friend's capacity for genuine success. Leo genuinely believes he's doing Marcos a favor by keeping his feet on the ground.

Marcos, however, harbors a different perspective. He blames every one of his shortcomings on the day he bore the brunt for Leo's misdeed. Pleading with Leo for support, Marcos' fury escalates when met with the counselor's unwavering stance.

The narrative then shifts to another poignant flashback, depicting Marcos and Martina aboard a private jet. Martina initiates a conversation, her nerves evident, while Marcos offers reassuring support. Following their disastrous performance, he offers comfort and takes her to a restaurant. As they part ways, he gifts her a yellow scarf intended for his daughter. Martina, realizing who he is—Leo's friend—unexpectedly proves susceptible to manipulation, reminiscent of Fran's deceitful tactics. Recognizing her gullibility, Marcos decides to exploit her to sabotage Leo.

Returning to Bariloche, Marcos seduces Martina, revealing himself as the anonymous admirer who courted her in the series' premiere. Intriguingly, he crosses paths with Ema, who's keen on exposing Fabian, a notorious video game predator. In a cunning maneuver, Marcos poses as Fabian, the bearded teddy bear-wielding figure at the skate park.

On the eve of the lakehouse bash, Marcos hatches a plan with Martina: staging an intervention for Leo. She pretends distress to lure Leo to the scene, under Marcos' instruction to delete their messages. Ema, duped into believing she's caught Leo in a compromising situation, films him, labeling him a child abuser. Marcos plants incriminating evidence—the teddy bear and photos—at Leo's residence. Ironically, despite orchestrating this chaos, Marcos appears disheartened when Ema's video goes viral, casting a dark shadow over Leo's reputation.

What transpires with Marcos? Currently, he attempts to terminate Ema's life by submerging her in the river's depths. He raves incessantly about how he lavished everything upon Leo, yet the man callously declined to lend him a helping hand when he desperately needed it just once. Furthermore, he places the blame for Leo and Martina's untimely demises squarely on Ema's shoulders. Marcos's sole intention was to manipulate Ema to ensure Leo's arrest, and he is distressed by her unforeseen deep entanglement in the situation.

As for Ema, she feigns drowning but swiftly grabs a rock to strike Marcos. He pursues her relentlessly, only for her to abruptly go live on a platform. She openly accuses him of Martina's murder, framing Leo, and attempting to end her life. With no escape route while being recorded, Marcos storms away in frustration. As he steers his car towards home, he dials his wife's number, pleading with her not to witness the news. He adamantly insists that all his actions were undertaken for the sake of their family. His wife is filled with concern, to which he responds with professions of his undying love. However, realizing there is no way out of his dire predicament, Marcos takes his own life by colliding with a stationary truck.

How does Ema uncover Martina's killer? A vigil is being held at the school in Martina's honor. Both Ema and Bruno attend, with the latter irked by the superficiality displayed by everyone present. Later, as Ema wraps up her investigation into Martina's case, she catches sight of a photo from the fateful party. A sudden realization dawns upon her, remembering that someone had left a photo from that very night at the vigil. She hastily returns to the school to scrutinize the photo once more.

It's a Polaroid snap of Martina, captured on the evening of the lakehouse party. Yet, she isn't at the lakehouse but rather at Armando's abode. With urgency, Ema speeds over to their location and arrives just in the nick of time, as Juliana is about to take Armando to his father's place. Ema confronts them head-on, with Juliana attempting to cover her tracks. However, Armando reaches his breaking point and confesses everything.

What transpired with Martina was both tragic and unexpected. After bluntly rejecting Gael's advances and attempting to reach Marcos, Martina noticed Armando observing her from afar. She approached him, feigning boredom, and together they borrowed Bruno's boat to sail back to the town. It was during this journey that she inadvertently left her scarf on the boat, which subsequently drifted away as Armando failed to secure it. Reluctant to return home, Martina decided to spend the night at Armando's place. They indulged in drinks and captured Polaroid snapshots of each other, leading to a passionate kiss and a night of intimacy.

As Martina prepared to leave, she stumbled upon Leo's video. Frantically, she contacted Marcos, who reassured her that he would rectify the situation but insisted she destroy the burner phone they used for communication. In a fit of panic, Martina did as instructed, yet in her haste, Armando also caught a glimpse of the video. Confronted by him, Martina confessed how Marcos had exploited her.

Desperate for forgiveness, Martina's plea was met with Armando's anger, causing him to push her. She tumbled down the stairs, her neck snapping upon impact. Juliana's arrival was too late; Martina lay lifeless. To shield her son, Juliana concealed Martina's body in the woods, overlooking Martina's phone. Discovering it later, Juliana slyly planted the phone in Leo's bag, rationalizing that he was already deceased.

Did everyone find peace and resolution? Ema grappled with Marcos's narrative for her next "Caught" episode but ultimately relinquished her role in the news program to Vicky. Bruno, still haunted by his father's fatal car accident, overcame his fear and began driving Ema around after Marcos broke her hand. Ema admitted she could never forgive Ariana but entrusted Bruno with her letters, allowing him to make his own decisions regarding their contents.

After confronting Armando, Ema witnessed him and Juliana turn themselves in to the authorities. Facu, with Ema's assistance and a capable lawyer, had his charge downgraded to attempted murder. Delving into the past, they deduced that Leo might still be alive. However, Facu reminded Ema that they both shared responsibility for ruining Leo's life. Ema pondered whether Leo would ever return if he indeed survived, while Facu believed he would, if he so desired.

How could Leo possibly be alive? On the fateful night Facu discharged his weapon at Leo, the bullet narrowly missed its mark, merely grazing the latter's neck—a grazing that proved fateful as it sent Leo tumbling into the river's depths. The waters swallowed him whole, leaving no trace of his body to be found. The prelude to the episode subtly hints at Leo's prowess in swimming, painting a picture of his athletic prowess beneath the surface.

And then, at the dramatic conclusion of Caught Episode 6, we witness a remarkable revelation: Leo, against all odds, is indeed alive. He has found refuge on the rugged mountainside, where he now resides, his days filled with the joyful task of teaching a spirited group of children the art of horseback riding.
