Crushology 101 – K-drama Episode 2 1

After satisfying their hunger, the duo makes their way to class, where Bunny playfully teases Ji-won about his resemblance to a statue she once admired. However, Ji-won's reverie is interrupted by a call from a woman labeled as his "first love." He excuses himself abruptly, leaving Bunny curious about his romantic entanglements. Soon after, Jae-yeol catches up with her, compelling her to attend his classes and take notes for him due to the damage she inflicted on his tablet.

After suffering nearly unbearable hand cramps from scribbling endless notes, Bunny resolves to settle her debt swiftly. She considers asking her father for a loan but decides against it upon witnessing his concern over fresh bills from their landlord. Instead, she opts for a part-time job at an exhibition featuring one of her beloved artists.

At Jay's exhibition, fate conspires to introduce her to another handsome figure, Cho A-rang, who extends an invitation for coffee. Over their casual conversation about Jay's masterpieces, Bunny reveals herself as a devoted fan. That evening, she savors dinner with her parents, who recount their love story. Her father, a romantic at heart, believes it was destiny, while her mother views it as a mere coincidence. Observing her parents, Bunny can't shake off a lingering sense of loneliness.

Elsewhere, Jae-yeol can't conceal his satisfaction as he peruses the meticulous notes Bunny took for him. The following morning, Bunny awakens from a nightmarish slumber and promptly transfers $200 to Jae-yeol, reducing her debt from $2000 to $1800. On her way to school, she spots Ji-won accompanied by his sister, Hye-won. When Hye-won accidentally topples from her wheelchair, Bunny steps in to lend a helping hand. Ji-won is deeply moved by her kindness, and Bunny realizes that Hye-won was the mysterious caller from the other day.

Regrettably, Bunny's garments became marred with mud as a result of her selfless assistance to Hye-won. Jae-yol, noticing her plight, generously offered his shirt, only to be firmly declined by Bunny. Eventually, he assured her that accepting the shirt wouldn't incur any additional cost, and once more, he entrusted her with taking notes during his classes. By the day's end, Bunny was utterly exhausted when she bumped into her chum, Bo-bae, who had just wrapped up a rehearsal for the drama club. Bo-bae, needing a hand, asked Bunny to hold onto a fake bandage and arm sling. Mistaking the situation, Jae-yol presumed Bunny had injured her hand. Bunny chose not to clarify when Jae-yol suggested she could take a break from note-taking until she healed.

The following day, the group found themselves volunteering at a hospital. Jae-yol volunteered to undertake Bunny's share of painting a mural on her behalf. Bunny began to feel guilty about her deceit but struggled to confess. In a moment of near-disaster when Jae-yol almost stumbled, Bunny rushed to his aid, thereby exposing her lie. Upon discovering the truth, Jae-yol insisted that Bunny complete the mural herself.

A couple of days hence, Ji-won encountered Bunny at school and inquired about her progress in repaying Jae-yol. He offered to lend a hand, but Bunny's attention was drawn to a poster advertising a strength competition, the prize being the latest tablet. She entered and, unsurprisingly, emerged victorious, presenting the tablet to Jae-yol before severing ties with him. Jae-yol was taken aback by her abrupt departure and puzzled over his treatment of her. Seeking clarity, he consulted Dong-ha, one of his closest friends, who concurred that Jae-yol had been overly harsh, explaining Bunny's aversion.

Elsewhere, Bunny invited Ji-won to join her and her friends in celebration. The girls were instantly captivated by Ji-won's handsome demeanor. The conversation soon veered towards the new men in Bunny's life, with Bo-hae and Nam Kkot Nim urging Bunny to open her heart to either A-rang or Jae-yol. Oddly enough, Ji-won, a seemingly viable candidate, went unnoticed. Unperturbed, Ji-won advised Bunny to take her time getting to know the gentlemen.

The next day, Dong-ha and Jae-yol ventured to a café for coffee. While there, Dong-ha attempted to flirt with Bo-hae, who repeatedly shot him down. Bunny popped in to give Bo-hae some candy, completely ignoring Jae-yol. He followed her out to confront her, to which she reminded him that she had fully repaid her debt and saw no reason for further interaction. Jae-yol's pride was shattered, and he pretended indifference towards her.

Bunny dismissed him and eagerly made her way to class, thrilled that the guest lecturer was Jay, someone she had been eagerly anticipating meeting. To her surprise, Jay turned out to be none other than A-rang. After class, A-rang explained his reasons for concealing his identity, but Bunny was simply delighted to know him better. Poor Ji-won found himself tagging along, feeling like a third wheel in their dynamic.

Meanwhile, Jae-yol finds it almost impossible to focus during his class. Bunny's face is an incessant distraction, her final words echoing relentlessly in his mind. Fed up with suppressing his emotions, Jae-yol abruptly rises from his seat and storms out of the classroom, driven by an insistent urge. He makes a beeline for Bunny's department, his heart pounding with urgency.

His jealousy ignites like wildfire upon witnessing A-rang lean in close to Bunny, gently brushing away the cherry blossom petals entangled in her hair. Without hesitation, Jae-yol's voice cuts through the air, his call to her resonating with an unspoken intensity. As he approaches her, the world seems to slow to a crawl, each step laden with significance. He grapples internally, pondering what course of action they should take, torn between his desire to be near her and the complexities of their situation.
