The third episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" unfolds with Larry's arrival at LAX, fresh from a flight hailing from Atlanta. Sienna Miller catches sight of Larry and praises him warmly for his escapades in Atlanta, her demeanor hinting at a playful flirtation. As Larry rides in the car with Leon, he laments the impossibility of pursuing Sienna Miller due to Irma's fragile mental state. Amidst this conversation, he makes a spontaneous decision to bestow a bagel upon a homeless man, cautioning him to keep his distance as he approaches the vehicle, and instead opts to lob the bagel towards him.
Later, Larry and Irma engage in a game of Wordle, which takes an abrupt turn when Irma blurts out the answer upon solving it, igniting Larry's ire. Leon enters the scene, prompting Larry to recoil in disgust as he notices Leon's genitals dangling ominously from his blue athletic shorts. Seeking a change of scenery, Larry heads over to his neighbor Duane Tubman's house, having heard of a recent bereavement. However, it transpires that the deceased is Tubman's father-in-law, a revelation Larry dismisses as less significant, to Tubman's chagrin. The conversation veers into unexpected territory when Tubman proposes splitting the cost of maintaining the lemon tree that encroaches upon Larry's yard, given Larry's occasional enjoyment of its fruits. Larry objects vehemently and makes his exit.
At the golf club, Larry finds himself perched on a bench, eavesdropping on a private lesson being conducted for deaf Oscar winner Troy Kotsur. The instructor catches Larry mimicking a swing and becomes irked, accusing him of piggybacking on his advice without paying for a legitimate lesson. He informs Larry that the bench he's occupying isn't intended for sitting but merely serves as an "aesthetic bench."
Larry finds himself in the midst of a golfing session with Jeff and Richard Lewis, his swing having undergone a remarkable improvement. However, his triumph turns sour when he inadvertently strikes a golf ball into Troy Kotsur's back, failing to utter the warning cry of "fore," assuming Troy wouldn't hear it. As their game resumes, Troy confronts Larry for neglecting this crucial golf etiquette. Their conversation is abruptly halted by the eerie sounds of coyotes, seemingly attacking a dog, prompting Jeff to insist on leaving to check on their new puppy. Larry, however, persuades him to stay, reasoning that any harm done was already a done deal, and they shouldn't disrupt their game. This self-centered decision earns them both Susie's disdain, who is appalled by their lack of empathy.
Elsewhere, Larry experiences a stroke of luck when Leon saves him from paying Duane by arriving with the invoice at an opportune moment, revealing his own "balls" to Duane. Disgusted, Duane declares that Larry no longer owes him anything and storms out.
Later, Freddy Funkhauser joins Larry for dinner, shocking everyone by announcing his plan to impregnate his neighbor's wife, whose husband is infertile. This bizarre revelation continues at the golf club when Funkhauser reveals he needs a stand-in for ovulation night, as he cannot attend. Leon eagerly volunteers to "lend a hand."
Larry's day takes another unexpected turn when he accidentally hits Troy with a bagel while attempting to toss it to another homeless man from his car. Takahashi summons Larry to his office, contemplating banning him from the club due to his recent antics. But Larry devises a clever plan: he puts on Leon's shorts, lounges back in his chair, and gives Takahashi a revealing view, forcing him to ask Larry to leave without any repercussions. Mission accomplished!
The episode concludes with Leon engaging in intimate relations with Funkhauser's neighbor's wife. The sound of a coyote interrupts their moment, but Leon insists they continue, determined not to let nature's call disrupt their intimate encounter.
