Desperate, Kotetsu pleads with Tokito for assistance. Suddenly, Tokito's mind is filled with the voice of Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who whispers that he will soon find himself. In a vivid flashback, Tokito is seen gravely wounded and devoid of all memories. As a makeshift solution, Ubuyashiki advises him to simply carry on living, a directive that has shaped Tokito into his current, apathetic demeanor. Yet, Ubuyashiki adds, even the smallest spark can reignite the embers of his lost memories.

With newfound resolve, Tokito grabs Kotetsu and dashes towards Kanamori, though a nagging doubt lingers in his mind about whether he's making the right choice by leaving the village unguarded. Elsewhere, Tanjiro inadvertently slices through a clone of Urogi, the winged demon, and immediately regrets his action as the demon fragments into two additional clones. However, Tanjiro soon realizes that his attack lacks its usual potency; each clone embodies an emotion, such as joy, and as they multiply, their collective strength diminishes. As Urogi launches another assault, his clones begin to vanish, revealing to Tanjiro that Urogi cannot create an infinite number of clones and that there is indeed a limit.

Yet, the young slayer finds himself powerless to halt Urogi's relentless onslaught, fearful that any further strikes might only result in more clones. Meanwhile, Nezuko valiantly tries to restrain Karaku, the pleasure clone wielding a maple-leaf fan, while Genya, bleeding profusely from a spear wound inflicted by Aizetsu, the sorrow clone, struggles to stay alive. Sekido, the anger clone, grows increasingly frustrated with Karaku's playful antics and urges him to eliminate Nezuko once and for all.

As for Aizetsu, he attempts to extract his spear from Genya, only to be met with a bullet to the head. But demons, it seems, are not so easily dispatched, as Aizetsu swiftly regenerates. Finally managing to free himself from the spear, Genya recites the Amida Sutra and leaps into the air, determined to slay Aizetsu. Both he and Sekido are taken aback by Genya's tenacity, as he refuses to succumb to death. Aizetsu kicks Genya into another room, but the unyielding slayer continues to chant and points his gun at the demon clone, ready for one final confrontation.

Witnessing the chaos unfolding before him, Karaku's excitement surged, eager to plunge into the fray. With a swift kick, he aimed for Nezuko, intent on ending her life. But Nezuko, ever resilient, countered with a kick of her own, and harnessing her demon blood art, she wielded Karaku's own fan to send him hurtling away. Stunned, Sekido seized the moment, driving his staff into Nezuko's neck and unleashing a torrent of lightning upon her.

Meanwhile, Tanjiro's mind raced as he sought a strategy to overcome Urogi and come to the aid of Nezuko and Genya. Employing a clever ruse, he feigned retreat, luring Urogi into a false sense of security. As the clone lunged forward, Tanjiro struck, plunging his blade into Urogi's maw. Using the clone's body as a makeshift platform, he soared back to the house, leaving Sekido wide-eyed in astonishment. Sekido attempted to strike Tanjiro with a bolt of lightning, but the slayer deftly parried it with Urogi’s severed leg.

Seizing the opportunity, Tanjiro sliced through Sekido’s tongue, a realization dawning upon him that the clones' regenerative abilities were hampered when their tongues were damaged. Just as he dislodged the staff pinning Nezuko down, Sekido's wounds miraculously healed, and he launched a fresh assault. Nezuko bravely intercepted the attack, but in that critical moment, Karaku reemerged, unleashing a ferocious onslaught. The Kamado siblings plummeted through the floor, succumbing to unconsciousness as Karaku cackled with glee, convinced he had finally secured their demise.

In the village below, the rest of the villagers sprang into action, sounding the alarm to alert everyone of the impending danger. The swordsmiths valiantly attempted to fend off the fish minions but found themselves overwhelmed and on the verge of defeat.

Just then, Mitsuri, who had been stationed in a nearby district, arrived on the scene, her crow guiding her way. With a burst of speed, she charged into the fray, ready to lend her strength to the beleaguered villagers.

In the epilogue, we are transported to a Kimetsu Academy tale. Mitsuri, now 19 and an art student, harbored dreams of bringing joy to others through her paintings. As she pondered when she would meet the man of her dreams, her plushie companion chimed in with a blunt remark, suggesting that no one would ever love her due to her gluttonous appetite and formidable strength. Undeterred, Mitsuri continued to pour her heart into her artwork, unaware of the adoring glances cast her way by the boys in the academy, who found her irresistibly charming.
