The fourth episode of "Down Cemetery Road" picks up right where we left off, with Zoe sending over a chilling photo of Downey to Sarah's phone. He's officially declared dead, and the image shows him in his army uniform. Despite Zoe's urgency, Sarah hesitates to leave, convinced that Downey isn't as dangerous as they think. After all, he did save her life. But just like that, Downey grabs her phone and shatters it into a million pieces, collapsing onto the bed in a haze.

Downey is taking a drug called Histropine, and Sarah is there to help him out, ensuring he's okay. We later learn that Downey has a rare neurological condition and these pills are experimental. There's a hint of something deeper, though; he doesn't reveal who his friend is, not even Dinah's mother.
As the tension mounts, Downey struggles to remember the combination to the safe where Sarah stashed his gun. Amos' unscheduled arrival at the safehouse sends Hamza into a tizzy, and he moves Dinah to a more secluded area. But he's unaware that Amos has placed a tracker in her teddy, knowing her every move.
Amos tracks down the hotel where Sarah and Downey are staying, and Sarah happens to be there when Amos shows up. She uses Sam, the quirky receptionist, to stall for time so she can scramble up and warn Downey. The pair just about manage to get away before Amos can catch them, but it's a close call.
Word of this botched operation reaches Hamza too, who wants to take care of Amos permanently. He hires a couple of freelancers and sets to work putting his plan into action. Amos manages to subdue all three of them when they burst into his room that night, and he eventually lights the apartment on fire, burning the evidence outright.
Elsewhere, Zoe finds herself in a cafe with DI Ash Varma, the officer she exchanged words with at the station. After a whirlwind of midnight texts, they sit down to discuss the forensics report—and there's no mention of a bomb. He also has the autopsy report on John Doe, signed off by Dr. Isaac Wright.
To distract Dr. Wright, Zoe stages a car break-in and breaks into the man's office, snatching his laptop. When Wright discovers the theft, he contacts C and sends him a photo of Zoe.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Downey break into Gerard's house, believing it to be their only safe haven for the moment. He reluctantly agrees to help and offers them a few hours of shelter. It's Paula who manages to persuade Gerard, but not for long—Downey threatens him and seizes a few guns when he refuses to cooperate further. Downey seems set to leave in the middle of the night alone, but Sarah intervenes, convincing him otherwise. Just before they depart, Downey quickly reminds them that he's marked and these people mean business. Sarah has nowhere else to go, though, and the pair rides off.
The final scene shows Zoe making her way home, where a tarp is draped on the wall with red writing spelling out the word "stop." But she won't stop, will she? The tension builds as she approaches her destination, her determination undaunted despite the ominous warning.
