At home, Da-rim muses over Ji-hyuk's engagement and concludes that he must be a notorious playboy. The next morning, her suspicions escalate when she catches Ji-hyuk standing close to Nan-sook, seemingly in an intimate moment. Later, Da-rim seeks advice from Myeong-soon on how to determine if a man loves her. Her mother essentially tells her that actions speak louder than words.
