The thirteenth episode of Dynamite Kiss begins with a nostalgic flashback of Da-rim testing the prototype at home while Ji-hyuk gracefully cleans the dishes, their mothers chatting in the background. Their romantic blossoming is effortless, and Ji-hyuk's confession of love to Myeong-soon comes as a surprise. She initially stumbles over her words, causing Ji-hyuk to question her feelings, but Da-rim reassures him everything is fine.

We then shift to the office, where Chang-ho slaps Da-rim out of unfounded anger, believing her to be a corporate spy and eager for her removal. Ji-hyuk jumps to her defense, fiercely protecting her from the guards.
Afterward, Da-rim is subjected to an interrogation by an auditor who insinuates that she sent an email about their new product to their competitors. He uses her past deception as evidence to implicate her guilt. In Chang-ho's office, Ji-hye stirs the pot by showing him pictures of Da-rim and Ji-hyuk, claiming that Ji-hyuk's judgment is clouded by his love for her. Her brother doesn't deny this but insists on conducting a thorough investigation to find the real culprit. He refuses to give up on her and comforts her in front of the entire office.
Meanwhile, most office workers turn against Da-rim, but thankfully, her team comes to her defense each time. Before she leaves the office, Ji-hye convinces her that Ji-hyuk's succession plan is in jeopardy due to her scandal. She asks Da-rim to save Ji-hyuk's future by taking the fall.
Elsewhere, Ha-yeong requests to leave the country in an attempt to escape the pain of Seon-u's rejection. His last rejection broke her heart, and she is struggling to cope. Sensing her daughter's pain, Mi-ok visits Seon-u to plead with him to give Ha-yeong a chance.
Sadly, Seon-u persists in his firm belief that he is not yet ready to welcome anyone into his life. Mi-ok departs, her heart heavy with disappointment, carrying Jun's gifts to Ha-yeong. The drawing he made touches her deeply, and in a moment of vulnerability, she confesses that she enjoyed his performance more than any other event she has ever attended.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk and Gyeong-min embark on an investigation into the corporate espionage. Ji-hyuk is shocked when Da-rim confesses to the crime, refusing to give him any time to resolve the issue. Her colleagues are caught by surprise as well, as they had trusted her innocence.
Simultaneously, Ji-hye and Tae-young mobilize the shareholders, insisting that Ji-hyuk is incompetent. They also instill fear that he is most likely to clean house and seek revenge for his mother if he takes the chairman's title.
In the evening, Ji-hyuk visits Da-rim to ask why she confessed. Instead of explaining, Da-rim doubles down, accepting the blame without hesitation. Ji-hyuk tries to ask for more time, but she insists on breaking up, blaming him for bringing drama into her life and saying she is at rock bottom. As such, she wants nothing to do with him.
The following morning, Da-rim confesses everything to her mother, Myeong-soon. Myeong-soon is shocked and heavily scolds her. She suggests selling the house and going to the village to stay with her sister, believing that the change of weather will give Da-rim some much-needed rejuvenation.
Back at the office, Gyeong-min links the corporate espionage to Nam Su-yon, the manager of the strategy team. He shows Ji-hyuk pictures of Su-yon meeting with the masked man behind the fire incident. Relieved, Ji-hyuk rushes to Da-rim's place to share the good news, only to find her gone. He begs Seon-u to tell him where she is because he wants to protect her.
Meanwhile, Da-rim and Myeong-soon settle in the village, helping their family on the farm. Her uncle tries to set her up with her childhood friend and local heartthrob, Sang-sik. However, Da-rim is not ready for that yet, still grappling with the aftermath of her confession and its consequences.
As she delved into the recordings she had made during the baby carrier project, she stumbled upon Ji-hyuk's heartfelt confession. In it, he revealed his plans to propose once the project was completed. That very night, Ji-hyuk set off for the village to find Da-rim. Her uncle, mistaking him for a thief, launched an attack. Fortunately, the misunderstanding was swiftly cleared, and when Da-rim insisted she had nothing to say to him and asked him to leave, he countered that he was too hungry to depart, prompting her aunt to offer him food.
Ji-hyuk used this opportunity as a pretext to stay and convince Da-rim to return with him to the city. His jealousy flared when Da-rim's uncle praised Sang-sik and kept referring to him as the ex. Before they retired for the night, Ji-hyuk explained his situation to Da-rim, apologizing for dragging her into his family's feud. He added that even though she was his weakness, he couldn't bear being separated from her and begged her to take back their breakup, refusing to leave until she agreed.
In the morning, after hearing Da-rim's uncle praise Sang-sik's work ethic, Ji-hyuk joined the family on the farm despite being unfamiliar with farm work. He tried to impress Da-rim by showing off his abilities but, as expected, he made numerous mistakes while Sang-sik effortlessly outshone him. Seeing this, Ji-hyuk's jealousy grew, and he overexerted himself, ending up feeling sore all over.
Da-rim scolded him as she applied pain-relieving bandages on his body, but Ji-hyuk appreciated her nagging, saying it was a sign of her caring for him. He used his endearing charms to win her over, and Da-rim couldn't resist his sweet words. With Da-rim finally back in his arms, Ji-hyuk opted to head back to the city to sort everything out. Myeong-soon prepared him some snacks, and she and Da-rim wished him well. They were both touched by his tenacity in fighting for Da-rim.
Back in Seoul, Ji-hye called for a press conference to discredit Ji-hyuk and get the shareholders to vote him out. She was surprised when he showed up to clear his name.
