As Boyd marked the trees to guide them back to civilization, he inquired about the voices that had invaded Sara's mind. She revealed that they had threatened her, claiming that if she didn't eliminate Ethan, her brother and everyone else would perish. Tabitha, Julie, and Ethan examined Victor's intricate drawings, and Ethan interpreted them as a narrative puzzle, the key to unlocking their next move.

Jade informed Jim of their predicament, highlighting the lack of a reliable power source for the radio. Kenny checked on the emotionally fragile Donna, who unleashed her frustration by taking an ax to the kitchen floor of Colony House upon hearing that more wood was needed for the tower. Later, Donna reminisced about the town's potential and fretted about its future if the tower failed.

Boyd and Sara were startled by the tinkling of glass bottles dangling from the trees' branches. Shortly after, Sara succumbed to the voices echoing in her head, her body limp. Kristi was devastated by Eric's loss, compelling Kenny to promise he would be there for her if she crumbled. Jade triumphantly discovered a way to power the radio, a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

Tabitha reached the depths of despair as she excavated the basement. Sara awoke in the tent's cozy confines, with Boyd by her side. He presented her with the glass bottle he had rescued from the tree, revealing a number scribbled on a solitary slip of paper. Suddenly, their tent trembled violently, and when the shaking subsided, a blaring horn pierced the silence, and a dazzling white light flooded the tent from outside, leaving them in awe.
