It is precisely during this contentious exchange that Donna unearths the harrowing reality: Fatima is the one who terminated Tillie's life. Her revelation prompts an insistent demand from Donna for Boyd to come clean to the populace. In the meantime, Ellis takes it upon himself to keep Fatima company within the secluded forest dwelling .
Elsewhere, Victor's frustration mounts with each passing moment, as he grapples with his inability to recall the elusive secret concerning Jasper. Seeking solace, Sara enlists the aid of Tabitha to calm Victor's tumultuous mind. With their collective guidance, Victor's memory finally yields, unveiling that Jasper was not the culprit but, rather, the enigmatic boy clad in white who had engaged Christopher in conversation on that fateful day. The boy had revealed to Christopher tales of children who had been betrayed by those they loved, and how their collective hopes had coalesced into a symbol etched onto the root of a tree within a cave, habitat to mysterious creatures. This symbol, in turn, gave birth to the faraway tree. When the boy urged Christopher to ascend the tree, it ignited a storm of anger within Christopher.
Meanwhile, Julie persuades Ethan to accompany her to the ancient ruins. Upon setting foot on the crumbling stones, she suddenly suffers a violent seizure and is transported to the eerie locale where Boyd had his harrowing encounter with the skin worms in Season 2. The captive figure within the ruins seems to acknowledge her presence and urgently informs her that Boyd is in dire need of assistance, pleading for her to toss him a rope, which Julie promptly obliges.
As she finds herself immersed in this surreal experience, she unexpectedly catches snippets of Victor and Tabitha's voices echoing from their cavernous adventure in Season 2. Elgin remains steadfast in his confinement of Fatima within the bunker, insisting with a chilling conviction that, yes, there is indeed a child gestating within her — but it is not of her own flesh and blood!
