FUBAR – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Aboard the plane, Emma is overwhelmed with guilt concerning her profession. Luke attempts to alleviate her conscience by asserting that she hasn't truly betrayed Carter; it's merely a facet of their mission. Emma confesses her love for her work but acknowledges the impossibility of maintaining a relationship with Carter while juggling such duties; the dual responsibilities prove too burdensome.

Just as the prospect of a heart-wrenching breakup begins to materialize, Carter pulls off a grand gesture specifically for Emma – a magnificent violin and a proposal sealed with a violin string ring. Caught off guard and with Luke and Tally as witnesses, Emma, on the spot, decides to accept. Luke, however, is far from pleased, later confronting Carter on his ship and resenting the fact that he never sought his blessing.

Elsewhere, Boro interrogates Dr. Karl Novac about the crucial component needed to complete his nuclear briefcase – an MNR (Miniature Nuclear Reactor). This revelation accelerates Boro's scheme, bringing his sinister plan closer to fruition.

At the engagement celebration, Luke was taken aback to discover that Tally had resigned from her job. When he casually proposed she consider working for him, Barry's eyes widened in astonishment, especially when Tally promptly accepted the offer. Barry's discontent was palpable, mirrored by Donnie's reaction when he later learned of the arrangement. Luke, however, remained steadfast in his belief that this could be the key to reconciliation with his wife.

Meanwhile, Carter and Aldon found themselves entangled in an intense conversation, the tension escalating when Aldon met Carter's parents. Elsewhere, Barry sought guidance from Roo on how to win Tina's heart.

Following another disappointing therapy session, the group reconvened, with Dot bringing everyone up to speed on the MNR initiative, which Boro was keen to infiltrate. Recognizing an opportunity, they devised a plan to ensnare Boro using bait, and who better to execute this than The Great Dane? Unfortunately, he was incarcerated in a Turkish prison under an alias, serving the first two years of a four-year sentence. Moreover, Roo harbored no fondness for him, having lost a toe in a botched shooting incident he was involved in.

The mission's success hinged on someone volunteering to go to prison in his stead. Barry stepped forward, eager to impress Tina, and Roo even spoke up in his favor. Just before embarking on this daring endeavor, Luke took Aldon aside and delicately hinted at his confrontation with Carter at the engagement party, which Aldon perceived as an insult, particularly as their wedding loomed.

Domestic turmoil ensued when Tally grew suspicious of the fitness gig, particularly when representatives from Twinning Formula, a rival fitness company, showed up demanding to inspect their financial records. Luke managed to maintain his composure, barely containing his nerves, as Barry prepared to venture into the prison, despite his profound fear.

As Barry adjusts to life behind bars, he cleverly establishes a clandestine communication line with Tina. Meanwhile, the Great Dane narrowly escapes thanks to a daring "Dark Knight"-inspired maneuver, utilizing a balloon to hitch a ride on a plane and soar to freedom. Back in his cell, Barry inches closer to Tina, confessing that his entire scheme was a bid to impress her.

Aboard the plane, the Dane readily agrees to the arrangement, especially since it promises his liberation. He promptly arranges a meeting with Boro, who agrees to relay their destination. However, back on solid ground, Luke and Emma's volatile relationship erupts again when she discovers his clandestine meeting with Carter on the ship. In the midst of their heated argument, they neglect their surroundings, resulting in their truck being stolen.

With the plot thickening by the second, Boro agrees to meet within half an hour, as the group frantically devises a plan to recapture the Dane. But there's a twist: the Dane catches wind of their impending betrayal and makes a swift exit, leaving behind a message scrawled on the mirror that reads, "You altered the deal."
