Episode 12 of *Gachiakuta* opens with Delmon meticulously crafting a garden for his beloved wife. Having never laid eyes on flowers on the Ground, even a single bloom is a treasure beyond measure for her. Suddenly, the woman's visage fades, and Amo's countenance takes its place.
With a sinister grip, Amo exerts control over Delmon, Follo, Rudo, and Riyou. Yet, before they can launch an attack, Tamsy springs into action, activating his vital instrument—a distaff. Its ropes swiftly weave into the form of a nest, ensnaring all of Amo's loyal "fans." The more they struggle against their bonds, the tighter the ropes constrict. Still, the battle is far from won.
Unfazed by their suffering, Amo coldly declares that they will continue to obey her, even amidst their agony. Tamsy, undeterred, hatches a new plan. He coils the rope tighter, trapping the four Cleaners within a colossal roll. Seizing the opportunity, he also ensnares Amo within the remnants of the nest.
Tamsy and Zanka exude an air of confidence, but the danger is far from over. As Amo cries out for help, Rudo and the others redouble their efforts to break free. They continue to writhe and struggle, even as their blood begins to seep from their wounds.
In a stunning display of power, Tamsy unleashes his final move. He slams his staff into the ground with tremendous force, causing the rope to spin wildly. Its movements are so frenetic that it bores through the floor, tearing apart a portion of the castle and sending the Cleaners plummeting to the ground below.
Even Zanka is left in awe of Tamsy's feat. As he berates Tamsy for seemingly killing their comrades, Tamsy reminds him of the drawing that Remlin had etched onto them. It's a safeguard, a talisman that shields them from harm, even in the face of fatal wounds.
Suddenly, a wave of movement swept through the group as everyone began to rise to their feet—even Rudo, despite the gaping hole in his abdomen. In a miraculous twist, the wound sealed itself within seconds, leaving no trace of its existence. To Amo’s astonishment, even Enjin stirred back to life.
Enjin casually slipped off one of her shoes, a gesture that deactivated her powers. It turned out he had been feigning unconsciousness, lying in wait for the perfect moment to strike.
As the others gradually regained consciousness, Tamsy took it upon herself to explain to Delmon what had transpired. The man had been consumed by madness, deluded into believing that his lost love had been resurrected.
Zanka couldn't help but remark on the cruelty of such an ability, especially for those who had suffered the loss of loved ones. Each of the Cleaners under Amo's control appeared utterly shattered, their spirits crushed by the ordeal.
Meanwhile, in a distant location, the leader of the Cleaners questioned Semiu about her observations of Rudo. She recounted witnessing something within him that she had never encountered before—and it wasn't related to his powers. It was something deeper, a quality intrinsic to the boy himself.
As she spoke, Rudo removed his mask and strode purposefully towards Amo. The girl wore a smug smile, assuming he was drawn to her charm, but she was sorely mistaken. In a flash of fury, Rudo landed a punch squarely on her face. Before she could even process the attack, he pounced on her, unleashing a barrage of blows.
Semiu remarked that something malevolent was brewing within him—a curse-like entity with the potential to unravel the very fabric of the world. The anime's focus shifted to the boy's inner world, revealing an egg-shaped, crimson object pulsating with ominous energy.
Gris and Enjin intervened, dragging Rudo away from Amo and restraining him. Yet, he seemed possessed, a demonic figure consumed by vengeance. No matter what Gris said to calm him, Rudo retorted angrily, recounting how Amo had attempted to kill them all and had the audacity to laugh about it.
But Enjin knew exactly what to say to snap him out of it. He inquired about their next move regarding the information they had gathered, prompting Rudo to finally recognize his rash behavior. The two of them then withdrew to a secluded spot to confer.
On the Sphere, Rudo had been prone to bouts of rage and violence, erupting with little provocation. He had learned to suppress his emotions, to bottle them up deep inside. Now, back on solid ground, he realized he was still the same impulsive boy he had been years ago—unchanged, unevolved.
However, Enjin then delves into his own preferences when it comes to women, as well as the missteps he's made in that regard. It was a moment of clarity that hit him when he found himself standing face-to-face with the reality of his choices. Meanwhile, Rudo has just come to a profound realization about his own shortcomings. For both of them, it feels as though they've hit rock bottom, and the only direction left to go is up. This newfound perspective lifts a bit of the heavy burden from Rudo's shoulders, and he rises to his feet, determined to extend an apology to Enjin.
In the meantime, Tomme makes an effort to be more amiable towards Amo. She gently removes her mask, revealing a hint of vulnerability as she confesses her fondness for romance. This simple gesture breaks the ice, prompting Amo to open up. She begins to recount the tale of the angel who bestowed upon her the magical boots—a being capable of traversing the boundaries between the Sphere and the Ground, bridging two vastly different worlds.
