Elsewhere in the house, Flower and Thor find themselves at a crossroads, longing to end their romantic entanglement with Nancy. Meanwhile, Isaac feels increasingly uneasy cohabiting with Nigel. In a bold move, they hatch a plan to swap responsibilities: Isaac will take it upon himself to break the news of Flower and Thor's breakup to Nancy, while Flower and Thor will task Isaac with convincing Nigel to vacate the premises.
Sam's father, who has been largely absent from her life, arrives with his girlfriend, and Sam and Jay delicately suggest separate bedrooms for the couple, albeit in a way that inadvertently makes Sam appear unwelcoming. On the other front, Isaac, with his enchanting charm, masterfully communicates Flower and Thor's desire to part ways with Nancy. However, Flower and Thor face a daunting challenge in asking Nigel to leave, ultimately relying on Isaac to intervene. Despite his best efforts, Isaac fails to convince Nigel and instead generously offers to relocate to the shed, feeling a sense of pride in his selfless act.
Elsewhere, the ghosts eavesdrop on Sam's father confiding in his girlfriend that Sam's mother was the reason he couldn't be present in her life. Moved by this revelation, Sam apologizes to her father and expresses her heartfelt wish to forge a closer bond, leading to a tender reconciliation. The couple decides to extend their stay with Sam and Jay.
The episode concludes with a humorous twist as Nigel informs Isaac that he, too, will be relocating to the shed, much to the chagrin of the resident ghosts who can't abide Isaac's presence!
