Episode 2 of Season 2 of "Graveyard" kicks off with Berk solemnly confirming that Ozkan took his own life, leaving behind only a mysteriously placed key on a shelf, seemingly out of context. Onem is consumed by guilt as Haluk, his gaze piercing through her, offers solace to Ozkan's grieving children. As the team proceeds to Ozkan's funeral, Onem's doubts persist about the suicide's authenticity, compounded by the perplexity of his final phone call, which mentioned a vintage car he didn't possess.

Graveyard – Season 2 Episode 2 1

Elsewhere, Feriha's keen eyes detect a second strangulation mark on Yasemin's neck, unmistakably indicating that she was throttled by a cloth-wielding assailant. Hasan visits his son Mert, a high school coach, attempting to broach the topic of Seher's murder, but Mert, still raw from losing his family, bristles with anger.

Determined to prove her worth, Selin delves deeper into Yasemin's writings, uncovering Anthony as a knight seeking redemption for his father and brother's sins. Onem seeks Nermin once more, who reveals that her husband, Murtuza, was aware of Yasemin's pregnancy and physically abused her over it. Nermin speculates that Yasar could be the father, given Yasemin's unwavering defense of him. The fate of the unborn child hangs in the balance, as Murtuza refuses to allow Nermin to keep it.

Haluk and Fikret raise a toast to Ozkan, their classmateship evident. Haluk ponders the enigma of Ozkan's suicide, while Fikret nonchalantly suggests it might stem from his affair with Yasemin.

However, Haluk is acutely aware that the truth diverges from this narrative, as the DNA reports conclusively demonstrate Ozkan's lack of kinship with Yasemin's child. As he slips away, he stealthily appropriates a glass bearing Fikret's fingerprints, adding another layer to the intricate tapestry of intrigue.

In another chapter of this saga, Anthonio's dark deeds come to light when he rapes Marcela, culminating in her brave exposure of his crimes to the masses. Selin's realization dawns that these revelations are intertwined with the fate of Yasar and Yasemin. Berk's revelation of the DNA results confirms the unsettling truth: Fikret is the grandfather of the child.

The authorities conjecture that Yaser, fearful of exposure, terminated Yasemin before she could implicate him. Onem meticulously compiles the report, intending to present it to Prosecutor Gokhan. Serdar, meanwhile, extends a tentative welcome to Selin into the Graves, their haven of sorts, only to encounter an obstacle when Gokhan underscores the circumstantial nature of their evidence – insufficient for securing a DNA warrant against Yasar.

Onem, frustrated by the system's seemingly deliberate hindrance, finds solace in Gokhan's confession of past mistakes. Berk's emotional breakdown, punctuated by ramblings about a peculiar key, sparks an idea in Serdar. He seeks Haluk, whose incessant finger-pointing at the Graves fuels a contentious exchange, culminating in Haluk's reluctant agreement to investigate the key.

Onem's perseverance leads her back to Lale's sister, who recounts how her voice was initially ignored when she dared to speak of her sister's plight. Yasar, while attentive, was a domineering and violent boss to Lale. Confronted by Lale's sister, he confessed to raping and murdering her sister, subsequently silencing her with threats.

Elsewhere, Haluk and Serdar venture to a scrapyard owned by Ozkan's uncle. The key unlocks the door to an aged taxi, revealing a note urging Haluk to do the right thing. Inside lies a treasure trove of stolen evidence, including Lale's dress and the sweater used to strangle Yasemin. Suddenly, gunshots ring out, targeting Haluk. A fierce firefight ensues, but the police swiftly neutralize Fikret's hired assassins, bringing a tempestuous chapter to a tense climax.

The taxi is equipped with CCTV footage that captures the harrowing moment when Yasar forcefully shoved Lale to her untimely demise. Another clip unveils his heinous act of raping Yasemin. Intriguingly, Berk detects an anomaly on the sweater – tear stains, remnants of eye drops, hinting at a different narrative. Upon further inspection, the sweater belongs to Tolga, prompting authorities to bring him in for questioning. She proposes a deal: testify against Yasar and Fitrek in return for a more lenient sentence. Tolga, without hesitation, unmasks Yasar as a psychopath but laments that Fitrek is lost in delusion and declines to cooperate. Tolga had forewarned Yasemin about Yasar's true colors, yet she was ensnared by his charm. Driven by an insatiable desire to safeguard his company's reputation from tarnishing due to an illegitimate offspring potentially devastating their stocks, Yasar lost all semblance of control and took her life. Discerning Tolga's selfish nature, mirroring that of his family, Onem terminates the deal, leaving no room for negotiation. Fitrek is subsequently apprehended for pointing a gun at Ozkan and menacing his son.

At the precinct, Mert brings in Baran, Seher's neighboring witness, who witnessed someone drenched in blood on the fateful night of her murder – none other than the local dealer, Bulent. The cliffhanger of Graveyard Season 2 Episode 2 concludes with Onem's eventual agreement to the interview, where she poignantly elucidates the rationale behind her moniker for Special Crimes as the Graveyard. Haunted by an overwhelming pile of unsolved murder cases, her department echoes the eerie silence of a graveyard. She harbors a desire for change but acknowledges the futility of her solo endeavor. She lays the blame squarely at the nation's doorstep, asserting that only its citizens hold the power to transform the grim reality.
