As Tucker tails them on the road, a twist of fate brings Ford and Birdie together at a gas station. Inside, Catherine is engrossed in pawning her bracelet, oblivious to the unfolding drama. Stepping outside, she is stunned to discover the clandestine mission unfolding before her eyes.
Ford attempts to coax Birdie into embracing the role of the "laid-back mom," hoping to distract her from the gravity of their situation. However, as they make their way back home, their carefully crafted cover begins to unravel with the appearance of a call labeled "wifey" on the screen.
