Martin, in turn, confides to Harry that his business solely revolves around smuggling star-shaped diamonds and that he has no involvement in the murders. He divulges that Tom, who works for the same organization, is implicated in weapon smuggling.

Martin urges Harry to apprehend the genuine serial killer to prevent Tom from escaping. He pledges to furnish evidence that can incriminate Tom. In another parallel narrative, Tom endeavors to locate Harry and ultimately visits Rakel's residence. A flashback to 1999 transports us to Prague, where Martin's story unfolds. He recounts how he became an escort to sustain himself and subsequently encountered a man involved in smuggling Pentagon-shaped blood diamonds.

Martin narrates his recruitment into this illicit trade and how he employed his charm to sell diamonds to women. He divulges his desire to quit after meeting Petra. Additionally, he reveals his encounter with Tom, alias The Prince, who introduced him to weapon smuggling. Martin states that Tom connected him with a Swedish man who frequently ordered murder weapons. He adds that he returned to Oslo the previous night to complete his final delivery.

Meanwhile, Harry contacts Beate and requests her to verify whether Tom and Martin were ever spotted together. In a separate scenario, Agnes, Møller, and Tom meet with Police Head Ivar to discuss Harry's actions. Tom offers to locate Harry and implores them not to inform the press. Ivar grants him until the end of the day to apprehend both Harry and Martin.

Elsewhere, Tom's associate threatens Maya and instructs her to inform them if Harry contacts her. Harry requests Beate to scrutinize tourist photos from Prague to confirm if Tom and Martin had met. Beate discovers a photo of Martin, reinforcing Harry's trust in him.

Harry requests evidence against Tom from Martin, who initially hesitates but complies by calling Petra to send the photos to Beate. Concurrently, the police intensify their search for Harry, unaware that he's using a burner phone to evade detection. Beate receives the photo from Petra and studies it, noticing the cyclist's attire resembling that of a delivery worker and a bandage on his knee. She informs Harry of her findings.

Elsewhere, Beate meets Clausen, the witness from Barbara's office, and asks him to identify the man in the photo. Clausen confirms that the cyclist matches the description he provided. Beate then instructs Harry to check Martin's knee for a scar but finds no mark.

Harry calls Maya, offering an exclusive update on the serial killer. Maya refuses to publish without meeting him, using the situation to draw him out. Detective Wulf informs Tom about a suspicious number linked to the police department under the alias Oystein Eikeland. Tom tracks him down and threatens him, demanding Harry's location.

Meanwhile, Maya waits at the meeting spot, but Harry doesn't show up. At the safehouse, Harry tells Martin that Maya might be working with the police and realizes that Eikeland hasn't called, suggesting he's in danger. Harry adds that if his burner phone is being tracked, Tom could find them at any moment.

Beate calls Harry with an update on Lisbeth's autopsy report. That night, Harry visits Willy's house, where he finds Willy with Lisbeth's twin sister, Toya. Toya discovers Lisbeth's body hidden inside a water mattress under Willy's bed and is shocked.

Tom learns that Beate has been helping Harry. The episode ends with Tom arriving at Rakel's house.
