The episode begins with a flashback of Paul and Liam as teenagers. Steve, furious about Paul not returning home from Liam's house, rushes to bring him back. Jassi accompanies the angry father as they arrive at Clara's house. Clara urges Steve to calm down and listen to his teenage son, but Steve is enraged. He demands that Paul come out, only to be further enraged when he sees that the boy has cut off his hair. Steve starts beating Paul up, calling him a woman, since the men from the Sikh Warrior community would take off their turbans or cut off their hair. Clara threatens to call the cops on Steve to get him to stop, while Paul sobs in his mother's arms. Liam watches the scene from his window.

Kohrra – Season 1 Episode 2 1

Back to the present, Paul's body is cremated as per the Sikh tradition, in the presence of the men of the family and their close male relatives. Jassi and Clara are back home where Jassi tries to reassure Clara about Liam's return while Clara consoles Jassi for her loss. Manna offers to drive Steve home from the crematorium but the latter believes it's best if Manna doesn't go home with them. Steve claims that Jassi still thinks he's involved in Paul's death, and the younger brother is hurt that his brother would think it was his fault.

Meanwhile, a couple of suspicious truck men, Sindha and Toti, try to rub off the bloodstains on their truck. The cops look through Paul's Instagram account to look for clues and learn that his expensive smartwatch, an item he always wore, was not found on his dead body. Balbir wonders if the eyewitness took the watch from Paul's body but Amarpal believes that he looks innocent.

Amarpal interrogates the beer shop owner who sold the boys alcohol on the night of Paul's murder and learns that the shopkeeper had introduced the boys to a drug dealer named Kulli. Balbir meets his superior in the hospital who tells him about the progress of the investigation. His superior asks Balbir to take care of the situation since his wife is in the hospital and in critical condition. On his way out, Balbir spots Indira and offers to drop her home. On their drive, the duo chats about Balbir's family. Indira learns that Balbir is a widower and invites him for snacks or dinner when he has time. Balbir asks for a rain check and goes to meet the forensic doctor with Amarpal.

The cops learn that Paul's throat had been slit with a sharp object. The doctor believes that Paul didn't die from that but due to blunt force trauma on his head. He adds that Paul's head had been hit multiple times with a weapon, possibly with it being a stone. The investigation continues as the cops try to unravel the mystery behind Paul's murder and find justice for his family.

The doctor further divulges that Paul's arm was sliced open and that he was subjected to fellatio before his demise. He informs the police that although reporters had relentlessly pursued him for details about Paul's autopsy, he had kept those details a secret from them. As they return, the duo of officers discuss the chain of events leading up to Paul's death but fail to find a connection. At Amarpal's residence, he observes his sister-in-law, Rajji, engaging in an intimate moment with his brother, prompting him to reflect on his own life's direction. He ventures out into the fields and gazes at photographs of his potential bride.

The following day, a bus driver named Pramod Kumar arrives at Happy Dhillon's car dealership. Happy, Manna's son and Paul's cousin, faces a threat from Pramod, who demands payment as per their agreement, or risk exposure. In parallel, female inspectors Satnam and Balbir interrogate Veera about her sexual relationships with Saakar and Paul. While attempting to inquire about the fellatio incident, Satnam pretends to comfort Veera and takes a hair sample for DNA testing. Veera lies about ending her relationship with Saakar a month ago and requests to leave when the police begin probing her personal life. Amarpal and Balbir pursue Pramod, but he escapes after spotting the police. The officers chase him but learn that Pramod has already fled.

SSP Sikka calls Balbir, instructing him to prioritize Liam's missing persons case over Paul's murder since Liam is a foreign national still alive while Paul, an NRI, has already passed away. Sikka urges Balbir to avoid complications and locate Liam before the international media becomes involved. Amarpal receives a call regarding Paul's smartwatch, learning that a man retrieved it from a drug peddler named Kulli who worked as a pizza delivery boy. The police locate Kulli's address and pay him a visit, only to find his apartment empty.

The next day, Balbir overhears Nimrat speaking on the phone and becomes suspicious. She requests her father to drop off her son, Golu, at school. However, after dropping Golu off, Balbir returns home to find Nimrat dressed up as if she were about to meet someone. He scolds and threatens her, accusing her of cheating on her husband. Nimrat counters by accusing Balbir of being an incompetent husband and father, claiming that he is not even competent in his job and is merely a sub-inspector while his juniors hold higher positions than him.

That evening, Amarpal visits Chaska Bar and coerces the manager into providing him with CCTV footage from the night of Paul's murder. He secures a bottle of alcohol from the bar and has a drink with Balbir. The officers discuss the case, and Balbir advises Amarpal to seize opportunities and progress in his career since Paul's murder was his first major case.

The episode concludes with Balbir receiving a call from the forensic team, where the doctor reveals that Veera's DNA was found on Paul's genitals, indicating that she was the one who performed fellatio on him.
