Episode 5 of Kubra unfolds with the somber scene of Sevami, alias Gokhan's devoted followers, immersed in grief and mourning over the tragic demise of Burak, a compatriot who lost his life when a police officer's firearm discharged unexpectedly. The police had been harassment the followers incessantly, eager to confiscate their charitable donations, which, without a permit, constituted an illegal activity. Semavi and his loyalists bid a heartfelt farewell to their fallen comrade.

Moments later, chaos erupts in the form of a violent riot, as Semavi's followers unleash their fury upon the police, arming themselves with stones and whatever debris they could scavenge. Semavi, striving to quell the tumult, finds his voice Submerged in the roar of the mob The aftermath leaves numerous individuals severely injured, with several being apprehended for questioning. Semavi implores his followers to abandon their violent ways, reminding them that violence only spawns more violence, but his words fall on deaf ears.

As the narrative advances, the police delve into the investigation of the decimated unit building, which stands as a charred ruin following Sevami's fervent prayer for the Almighty to make his presence felt. Damla, a diligent officer, uncovers the truth: the custodian, while preparing tea on a stove connected to a gas line, inadvertently caused the explosion. However, her superior remains steadfast in his conviction that Semavi is somehow implicated, fueled by the sight of Sevami gazing upon the burning building.

In a moment of profound self-doubt, Semavi retreats to his sanctuary—a lounge where he often seeks solace in reminiscing about his past. He humbles himself before Allah, seeking forgiveness for any wrongs he may have committed and Pray for guidance to halt the endless cycle of violence.

In that very spot, Merve encounters Semavi, who somberly conveys that Allah has turned away from him, severing all communication. Semavi attributes this alienation to his bold request for Allah to manifest Himself. Merve, undeterred, counters that Allah is infallible and would not have anointed Gokhan as His messenger if He did not deem him worthy of such a sacred task.

The situation takes a perilous turn as Gokhan's adherents, driven by fervent conviction, fortify the entire town with barricades, vowing not to budge a single stone until their demands are granted. The city authorities, in a stark warning, declare that unless these barricades are dismantled by dawn, forceful intervention will ensue.

The police, desperate for a breakthrough, bug Serhat, but he insists that Semavi bears no responsibility for the escalating violence and has already exerted his utmost to quell it. Semavi, steadfast in his resolve, further declines future collaboration with the authorities, asserting that he has fulfilled his duty.

As tensions mount, Gokhan confronts his followers, his voice resonating with urgency. He warns that their violence will lead to innocent bloodshed. Though challenged, the followers relent, agreeing to lay down their arms provided Allah performs a miracle through Semavi.

The next morning, chaos descends upon the city in the form of a massive riot. Amidst the fray, a young rioter aims his gun at Semavi, pulling the trigger. Miraculously, the bullet bounces off Semavi's skin without leaving so much as a scratch, serving as undeniable proof that Allah had not forsaken him and that this entire ordeal was but a trial of faith.
