Tommy wakes up in a hotel room, but he's not alone. Room service has arrived, courtesy of Angela, and things take a comical turn quickly. The woman is shocked when Tommy inadvertently flashes her, and Angela eventually polices the situation and decides against breakfast in bed. His morning glory stunt with the worker has indeed ruined the mood!

Meanwhile, Cooper and Ariana are getting along well, talking about marriage and their wedding. While Ariana believes that the marriage itself is what's important, Cooper wants to get the proposal just right.

The third "couple" who awaken this morning are Rebecca and Charlie Newson. I say "couple" because despite their obvious hook-up and attraction for one another, there's still the very real business of the oil rig to contend with.

Rebecca wants Newsom to walk the president and Principal through the well producing. However, there are no guarantees that they'll be able to get this drill firing. Newsom needs to study the reservoir properly, but right now, their odds are not good. It's roughly around 10%. Given that they're spending $400 million to get this rig going, Charlie explains that this is very much wildcatting at best. They could hit the big one, or they could crash and burn.

After the weekend's shenanigans, Tommy and the others drive back home. Angela is not happy with Tommy after some breakfast genitalia jokes, while T.L. knocks some sense into his son. He wants to try and enjoy what's left of his life, explaining to Tommy that he has it all and should really do the same. Rushing home to fix problems before accumulating more means he's going to lose sight of what's really important.

In the midst of this chaos, Boss throws a barbecue to celebrate his 20-year bonus. All the usual characters are present, including BR, King, and others. However, Jerrell is notably absent. Dale is also there, and he has a gift for Boss.

After what happened to Jerrell, Boss reflects on his career and how tough it's been for everyone. He's shocked to still be here and it's making him think twice about the life he's leading. Dale, on the other hand, doesn't see this rigging as just a job. He's a treasure hunter and a gambler, so this "wildcatting" business is right up his alley.

Rebecca shows up to see Nate and relays what she's learned. It seems like the hurricane that knocked out the oil drill could just be a coincidence. Maybe Monty realized he had better odds fighting this in court than spending more money to get a drill running that wouldn't give them returns. Nate believes they should litigate, dragging the case out as long as possible until they recover money from the funds or the workovers are online and they can pay out a settlement.

Before they do anything, Newsom will need to explain this to Tommy, and together they'll need to convince Cami. Unfortunately, that'll be easier said than done.

Nate also blinds Rebecca with a Conflict Form in the middle of all this. He knows they're involved, and after Rebecca signs, Charlie will need to as well. Unfortunately, this will also go on record for everyone to see – precisely what she didn't want.

Rebecca is shaken and speaks to Tommy about it afterwards. She's really worried she'll be fired, but Tommy is actually pretty chill about it. Given how good she is at her job, he doesn't want to lose her over something so trivial. He's not happy with Nate, though, and decides this isn't a bear they should poke. He also makes good with Angela too, thanks in part to T.L.'s words.
