As the second episode of Malice unfolds, Adam's sinister schemes continue with a chilling act of murdering a cat and splattering blood on Jamie's shirt, craftily framing him for a drunken brawl. As the morning light filters through the villa's windows, the family realizes that Jodie is in dire straits. She's racked with a severe case of food poisoning, leaving her dehydrated and in desperate need of urgent medical attention in Athens. Jodie is swiftly airlifted from the villa, while Jamie remains to conduct a stream of work from the island's shores, engaging in a discerning conversation with some cagey business owners.

Enter Inspector Niko, who makes his presence known on the island, engaging Dimitri in a conversation. Dimitri explains that he was attacked from behind and required numerous stitches. The incident happened out of nowhere and near Jamie's villa, which puts Jamie and his associate Adam in an unfavorable light. Dimitri, who has heard English before his attack, undoubtedly links their names to the incident.
At lunch, Adam coaxes everyone into sharing their "worst experiences," promising that the table remains their confidant. Jamie recalls the heart-wrenching memory of losing Dexter several years ago while picking him up from school.
As the Inspector delves deeper into the case, he suspects that Dimitri's situation may stem from a property dispute, given Jamie and Dimitri's past disagreements. Jamie and Adam are forced to make a statement at the station and produce their passports. Unfortunately for Jamie, he doesn't have his with him.
Once the officer has left, Adam pulls out Jamie's blood-soaked shirt in secret, weaving a tale of paranoia as if Jamie had actually harmed Dimitri. Adam claims he'll take care of the shirt while urging Jamie to delete all messages to Dimitri from his phone.
Damien expresses concern for Adam, given his obvious infatuation with Nat, while Jules is disappointed that they'll be losing Adam as their nanny.
As Jules and Damien bid farewell to the villa, Adam lingered behind, keen to observe the unfolding drama stemming from Jamie's "missing" passport. Despite video evidence of their whereabouts and a statement from the taxi driver, the Inspector remained unconvinced by Adam and Jamie's account. Jamie, despite his initial skepticism towards Adam, boldly declared his ability to "vouch" for the latter's character, seemingly forgetting his earlier distrust.
With Jodie on the mend, Adam volunteered to fetch her from the mainland, but before reaching her, he made a detour to a sex club, as if such an act were the norm. When he finally arrived at the hospital to collect Jodie, he claimed she was "homesick" and had returned home. In Jodie's absence, Nat predictably asked Adam to become their full-time nanny, and he obliged without hesitation.
Jamie later appeared, apologetic to Dimitri but his words fell on deaf ears. He was brushed off and told to leave, muttering an understated "prick" as he was forced off the doorstep. Adam watched this exchange with a sinister grin, as his master plan continued to take shape.
The scene then shifted to Adam moving into the London home of the Tanners, signaling that the real work was about to commence...
