In the fifth episode of Margo's Got Money Troubles, the church ladies throw a bridal shower for Shayanne before she jets off to Vegas. Margo, as usual, attends with a mixture of fascination and boredom, watching her mom try to fit in with the group.
After the event, Jinx meets them in Margo's car. It turns out that he's tagging along to Vegas as Bodhi's nanny. Shayanne, however, isn't keen on having Bodhi involved in the wedding or anything related to it.
The trio - Margo, Shayanne, and Jinx with Bodhi in tow - takes the same car for the journey. During the ride, Margo and Shayanne belt out their favorite tunes. Margo is surprised to learn that her mom lied to Kenny about not gambling.
Upon arrival at the hotel, Kenny pays for only two rooms since he and Shayanne can't spend the night together before the wedding. Jinx secures a room for himself and Margo, and she promises to help him cover the cost. She even withdraws some cash from her OnlyFans account for the trip.
That evening, Kenny takes Margo and Shayanne to a magic show. The magician makes a crude joke about Kenny's physique and performs a trick that produces "Shayanne's bra." Kenny is visibly upset by the crude show and forgets his bow tie. Shayanne considers canceling her manicure, but Margo steps in and offers to help.
She takes Kenny bowtie shopping and hears about the crude magic show once again. She reassures Kenny that her mom is okay. Kenny praises her for being a good daughter and explains that he was the same way with his religious parents. He goes on to talk about how meeting Shayanne changed his life and how much he loves her.
After shopping, Margo, Kenny, and Shayanne go out for dinner. Kenny apologizes for letting the magic incident ruin the mood. The evening continues with laughter and good times as they celebrate their upcoming nuptials.
Once again, they reassure him that it's all fine. He pledges to stand by Margo's side and serve as her male role model. Shayanne defends Jinx and swiftly changes the subject. Kenny proceeds to order for Shayanne, and she happily complies.
Later that night, Shayanne, Margo, Jinx, and Bodhi sneak into a bar after Kenny falls asleep. Shayanne insists on having a real bachelorette party. They go to a restaurant that holds a special history for Jinx and Shayanne - they once had sex in the bathroom of that bar. Jinx admits he messed up, and Shayanne agrees. Although he is hurt, she gives both him and herself the closure they never had. When Bodhi starts crying, Jinx takes him back to the hotel. Margo and Shayanne hit the town and have fun. Shayanne confesses that she's struggling with her wedding song because she doesn't feel it. Margo questions if she's sure about marrying Kenny. Shayanne insists that Kenny is a good man who genuinely loves her. She asks Margo to at least pretend to be happy for her.
Later, Margo gives her mom the traditional wedding gifts - something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new. Shayanne feels she doesn't deserve it since she could never give Margo everything she deserved. Margo denies this and insists she was a good mom even though she worked at Hooters. She reveals that she's also working as an OnlyFans creator. This is when things take a turn for the worse, and Shayanne accuses Margo of doing porn. Although her daughter tries to explain, Shayanne refuses to listen, calling her immoral, among other things. After all the harsh words Shayanne throws at her, Margo promises to quit. Shaynne claims she raised Margo to know better. Margo argues that Shayanne raised her to be a friend because she had none. Hurt, Shayanne still asks Margo to show up at the wedding because they need a witness. They spend the night, each in deep thought.
The wedding goes smoothly with Kenny feeling lucky and happy while Shayanne feels conflicted but hides it. Outside, Jinx cries as he sneaks a peek. Margo gives a speech of gratitude and well-wishes before joining Jinx outside.
Later at the hotel, Jinx and Margo agree to leave Vegas that night and head back home. She vents about Shayanne seeing her as a baby and texts the girls to inform them that she's coming back.
Meanwhile, Shayanne's wedding night doesn't turn out as she expected; Kenny complains that the music is distracting them when they are getting intimate. He goes on to say how lucky he feels, and Shayanne plays along.
Elsewhere, Margo spends some time at the pool as she waits for Jinx to get ready. Shayanne spots her from her hotel room. Margo then gets a text from Jinx and gets up to leave. Shaynanne turns back to look at Kenny but doesn't see a blissful newlywed in him.
