Marshals – Season 1 Episode 11 1

Calvin leads the group in the wrong direction, realizing he's lost due to the harsh weather conditions. With Kayce's truck on the other side of the ridge, they have no choice but to seek refuge at a nearby cabin. However, the cabin is far from ideal, with a damaged roof. The boys work together to try and fix it up, alongside trying to start a fire. They even uncuff Lamb to help, which seems like a rather reckless move.

They do manage to start a fire and try not to argue too much, although tensions are definitely brewing between them. When Calvin steps outside to gather kindling, he walks right onto a frozen lake and falls in. He manages to get back to the cabin, but he's in a rough state. Lamb has to give up his shirt to help warm Calvin, but it's definitely touch and go for a while.

Meanwhile, Andrea is determined to keep trying to find Neil Lamb, who's obviously off with our boys. We learn here that Lamb spent seven years behind bars in South Dakota for armed robbery and actually disappeared off the grid completely until this year when he robbed a bank, killing two security guards.

Lamb has half a million dollars that was never recovered, and it seems like he's been in contact with a guy called Charlie Ripley to orchestrate a new scheme. Ripley was a prisoner with him when he was behind bars, and the Marshals have leverage over him too given he's missed payments to his kid. They bring him to the Marshal HQ, where Ripley claims Lamb asked for warm clothes and a gun.

After a bit of back and forth, we learn that Neil Lamb also spoke to someone called Ben, aka Don Benson. The guy is apparently a ride-or-die psycho and has Neil's back. Unfortunately, it seems like Ben is about to turn the tables on the mountainside.

Meanwhile, at the cabin, the situation between Calvin and Kayce comes to a head. Cal calls the Dutton family "gangsters on horseback," while Kayce hits back, pointing out that the Duttons fight to the end rather than giving up.

Kayce has always felt a deep tension around Calvin's decision to leave Roner, one of their soldiers out in the field, behind when they were overrun in an operation. When they left the mountain, they thought he was dead, but in reality, he was fighting for his life. The gang saw him on the infrared and eventually watched him fall to the enemy's hands. Kayce has held Calvin responsible for this ever since, but it turns out that Garrett was the one who provided intel that Roner was dead.

Meanwhile, Nancy Ohlmeyer, the CEO of Crestmark Mining, shows up to see Rainwater. She wants to try and stop the construction of the mine and brings Miles in as her ace in the hole. Miles uses his eloquence to explain the significance of Broken Rock and how he works with the Marshals to help his people. It works its charm and paves the way for further negotiations down the line.

Back at the cabin, Neil makes a run for it, but Calvin is in no position to fight back. He's easily overpowered, but Kayce helps him back up. As they walk through the woods, Benson arrives and holds them at gunpoint. However, it doesn't last long as both Belle and Andrea show up and shoot him dead.

The boys claim that Neil Lamb is still out there, but as we see, he's actually frozen under the ice. Unfortunately, he's not the only one who passes away. Garrett is also declared dead.

This scenario is filled with tension and emotion, as characters struggle with guilt, loss, and the consequences of their actions. The descriptions are vivid and help bring the story to life, making it more engaging for the reader.
