M.I.A. (2026) – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Meanwhile, Carmen requests Etta to house-sit for a few days and makes her promise not to host any parties or have anyone over. Over the next few days, Etta hopes to spot the woman she saw with one of the twelve. She and Lovely have started calling him the "Neck Tattoo Guy." She finally gets her wish, but the woman seems more focused on her phone and unwilling to entertain Etta's curiosity.

Etta leans on Lovely to get closer to the girl and get her to open up. They offer a few drinks to London's group to loosen them up. London implies that she's having relationship trouble, and they suggest she take a hot pic and tag her man. Etta is disappointed that London doesn't tag Neck Tattoo.

Etta gets the idea to host a party at Carmen's place and invite London. She and her friends quickly accept the invite after learning the club DJ will be spinning. Before heading out, Etta sneaks into the club safe and steals the drugs that Carmen confiscates to throw away.

The following day, Stanley helps the girls set up for the party. Etta worries as London runs late. Lovely tries to get her to loosen up and enjoy life while they wait for London. However, Etta says that it feels wrong to enjoy life when her family is dead. Lovely responds by reminding her that the dead don't want the living to stop living.

At the party, Stanley gets on well with one of the female guests. Etta is shocked that Lovely invited Matt, but they also get along just fine. London and her friends soon arrive. Etta steals her phone for a second and tags people in her friend group, asking them to come over.

As the party rages on, London suggests doing drugs, and Etta and Lovely agree because they don't want them to leave. The night unfolds with laughter, music, and a sense of belonging that helps Etta feel closer to her family in their own way.

Elsewhere, Pedro, the ruthless Russian drug dealer, storms into Elias' house and launches an attack. Elias valiantly takes down most of Pedro's henchmen, but Pedro tries to recruit him. Elias, though hesitant, refuses and even hesitates to throw away Pedro's business card.

At the party, Etta strikes up a connection with Matt and drags him upstairs for a tryst. All are under the influence of drugs, when suddenly there's commotion downstairs. Etta rushes down to see what's happening and discovers a group of men holding London at gunpoint, demanding their money back for the drugs she stole from them.

Etta steps in and offers to pay the debt, giving the leader all the drugs she had stolen from the club's safe. The men accept the deal since the drugs will yield them more profit than what they were owed. As they're about to leave, London curses at the leader, Savo, and he shoots her. The group rushes to Isabel and begs her to save London, asking Matt not to call the police. Isabel agrees to help in exchange for drugs and enlists Stanley's help since he's the only sober one present.

Outside, Matt tries to get answers from Etta, but she doesn't care to explain. Once Isabel is done with her task, they take her back home. In the morning, Etta waits for London to regain consciousness. London promises to repay her kindness, and Etta asks about the mysterious neck tattoo guy. We learn that his name is Juan Acuña, and London warns that he shouldn't be messed with as he works for the Rojos.

Meanwhile, Lovely thanks Stanley for saving her the night before. Matt shows up to help with the cleaning before Carmen arrives. By the time she gets back home, the three have made the house spotless. However, Carmen is onto Etta and accuses her of failing the trust test. Etta apologizes and leaves.

Later, they go through the pictures from the party in Stanley's Chevy and joke about the people who tried to get their attention. Lovely makes a memory altar with the pictures. The episode ends with Etta thanking Lovely and Stanley for standing by her side as she updates her notebook. Lovely asks what she will do next, and Etta claims she will hunt Juan down and kill him.
