Mirzapur - Season 3 Episode 3 1

Elsewhere, Sharad confronts Kaleen with the news of Munna's demise, triggering a storm of emotions in the latter. Kaleen is perplexed by Sharad's efforts to save him despite the longstanding rivalry between their families. Sharad, however, reveals his ulterior motive, urging Kaleen to return to Mirzapur and claim the throne once held by Munna. He incites Kaleen against Guddu, seeking to prove his dominance.

Meanwhile, Shakuntala, Sharad's mother, instructs her son to ensure that the people of Mirzapur are aware of Kaleen's survival, owing it to his intervention. She urges Sharad to ascend the throne of Mirzapur, succeeding Munna.

Concurrently, Bharat reaches out to Golu, reminiscing about the demise of his twin brother, Chotte. Golu, while acknowledging Chotte's feelings for her, clarifies that she is not culpable for his death. Undeterred, Bharat threatens to exact retribution from Golu, and she accepts the challenge with unwavering courage.

At the Tripathi abode, Guddu listens attentively to the grievances of the populace, offering monetary relief to those in need. The crowd sings praises for Guddu's compassion. However, within the confines of the house, Golu negotiates a deal with opium traders, but Guddu interrupts the illicit transaction, refusing to indulge in such dealings.

Golu readily accepted the deal but insisted that the brokers adhere to her pricing for the consignment. Unexpectedly, Satya rang Golu, imploring her to secure funds if she desired to meet with J.P. Yadhav. Concurrently, IG Dubey found himself at Home Minister Solanki's abode, where the two men watched a news broadcast showcasing Madhuri, now the Chief Minister of U.P., addressing the public.

Madhuri pledged to compensate all victims of the attack at the bodybuilding event with a sum of 10 lakh rupees. She further disclosed that Dubey had been suspended from the police force and assured that Solanki would oversee the compensation funds. Both Solanki and Dubey were perplexed, wondering why they were being embroiled in Madhuri's mess.

PA Anand counseled Madhuri, urging her to reconnect with her uncle J.P. Yadhav, who had once arranged funds for her. Anand emphasized the importance of Madhuri maintaining her public image, but she refused to seek help from her uncle, who was now in hiding. Anand then prompted Madhuri to explore alternative funding sources, leading to a meeting with Sharad.

During the meeting, Sharad presented Madhuri with a joint to ease her tensions. As Madhuri inhaled, she revealed her need for funds. Sharad proposed that granting bail to Lala would ensure the smooth functioning of the drug trade, thus providing the necessary funds. However, Madhuri rejected this approach and offered Sharad an alternative solution.

Meanwhile, in prison, Lala attempted to broker a deal with Ramakant. However, Ramakant stood firm on his principles, refusing to comply with Lala's demands. Lala warned Ramakant that his principles would fade if he remained incarcerated for an extended period. Unfortunately, Ramakant's prison duties were then assigned alongside Gerua, a man with a deep-seated hatred for lawyers, known for his violent tendencies towards them.

At the Tyagi residence, Bharat was engaged in playful antics with his cherished daughter, Ginni. As the evening drew near, Saloni, Bharat's wife, beckoned the pair to retire for the night, but Bharat politely declined. As he prepared to leave for his work, his mother, Geeta, intervened, gently encouraging him to stay home and cherish the fleeting moments with his family.

Saloni observed with a tender smile, noting that Ginni longed for her uncle Chotte and was elated by Bharat's kindness towards their daughter. She affectionately kissed Bharat, a gesture that startled him momentarily.

Meanwhile, Beena was gripped by anxiety over her newborn son's well-being, overshadowed by the looming threat of Kaleen's return. Devdutt encountered Kaleen and attempted to convince him to take the necessary medications to regain his strength. However, Kaleen remained adamant, claiming that the loss of his son was a wound that could never heal. Devdutt nodded solemnly, acknowledging that he too knew the depths of such sorrow, having suffered the same fate with the passing of Chotte.

With a sense of dread, Bharat strained his ears as Devdutt proclaimed that Chotte had been a wayward son to him. Adding fuel to the fire, Devdutt further remarked that Munna and Chotte were unworthy of the throne, and thus their deaths came as easily as they lived. Meanwhile, Golu came to learn that Sharad had been embarking on numerous trips to Bihar, prompting her to instruct her informant to keep a close watch on Sharad's movements.

Following Munna's demise, Madhuri granted Sharad the authority to cultivate opium on the fields under her name. However, PA Anand imposed a condition, demanding that Sharad arrange for 50 million rupees before he could reap the profits from the opium fields.

In a private conversation with Lala, Sharad confessed that he needed some time to secure Lala's release from prison. He then proposed a partnership, asking Lala to utilize his network to sell the opium Sharad had been accumulating, promising to share the profits evenly.

Inside the confines of the prison, Ramakant trembled with fear, fearing Gerua's vengeance. However, he soon discovered that Gerua's arrest had been a mistake, and the thug was desperately seeking a way out. Gerua pleaded with Ramakant to help secure his freedom by filing a mercy petition on his behalf. Ramakant, in turn, entrusted Dimpy with the task of filing the petition on the thug's behalf.

Vasudha appeared before Ramakant, pleading with him to defend himself in court. The following day, Ramakant stood before the court, boldly declaring that he had killed the cop, SSP Maurya, in order to protect his son. The prosecution attempted to challenge his claim, but the judge granted Ramakant the opportunity to defend himself.

Dubey met with Madhuri, who offered a cunning plan to mitigate the consequences of their attempt to eliminate Guddu. She instructed the cop to perjure himself, leaving the audience on a cliffhanger as the episode concluded.
