The episode kicks off with Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) roaring up to the warehouse on his motorcycle, the wind tearing through his hair. As he arrives, his eyes scan the entrance, where the guards' bodies lie strewn haphazardly. He bends down, retrieves a gun from the blood-stained floor, and surveys the scene of chaos around him. Written in crimson across the floor, the word "WAR" stands out ominously. Informed Conrad Harrigan (Pierce Brosnan) that Brendan Harrigan (Daniel Betts) and Seraphina Harrigan (Mandeep Dhillon) are notably absent from the list of fatalities, Harry mentions the involvement of the Moroccans and confirms that El Youfsi (Elijah Braik) has met his demise. Conrad solemnly reveals that the Moroccans now wield control over the Antwerp docks. Meanwhile, Maeve Harrigan (Helen Mirren), overwhelmed with grief, retreats to her room, her sobs echoing through the empty halls.

MobLand – Season 1 Episode 7 1

Harry prepares himself for the upcoming confrontation, extracting a hand grenade and a firearm from his bag before setting off towards the Antwerp docks. Using a burner phone, Maeve dials Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell)'s number, her voice trembling with fury as she reminds him of their agreement. Richie, caught off guard, confesses to taking Brendan as a precaution. Her threats hang in the air, thick with anger, before he abruptly ends the call. She curses under her breath.

Paul (Emmett J Scanlan) breaks the news of Seraphina and Brendan's abduction to Eddie Harrigan (Lara Pulver), who responds with a question, unsure if the information brings hope or despair. Paul turns away, leaving Eddie to ponder. Conrad ponders aloud, wondering who besides them and Harry knew of Brendan and Seraphina's whereabouts in Antwerp. Kevin Harrigan (Paddy Considine) assures him that the entire family was privy to the information. A tearful Maeve storms in, convinced that someone within their ranks has betrayed them for personal gain. Conrad's warning is grim: this is no longer a conventional war, but a nuclear escalation.

Eddie informs Gina Da Souza (Teddie Allen) of her perilous situation as a member of the family, offering to spike her coffee with whiskey for courage, which she politely declines. Jan Da Souza (Joanne Froggatt) receives a call from a distressed Alice (Emily Barber), who pleads for a meeting. Reluctantly, Jan agrees. Alice, wiping away her tears, utters a defiant "Mic Drop" as the call concludes. DS Ivan Fisk (Luke Mably) and DC Mukasa (Gemma Knight Jones) stand by her side, aware of the gravity of the situation.

Bella Harrigan (also Lara Pulver) approaches Jan, requesting the contact number for their housekeeper Maria (Ellen Costa), who has recently resigned. Elsewhere, O'Hara Delaney (Lisa Dwan) informs Conrad that Fisk heads a unit tasked with dismantling the Harrigans and Stevensons. Maeve mocks the notion, sarcasm dripping from her words as she wishes him luck. O'Hara warns of a traitor within the Harrigan family. Conrad's narrative of what he did to a cellmate who betrayed him sends a chilling message.

Kevin reaches out to Harry just as he arrives at the Antwerp docks. Bella inquiries about the reason for Maria's number, but Harry remains tight-lipped. She notifies Antoine Arloud (Gregoire Colin) of Lord Pennock's (Steven Pacey) arrangement for a meeting between him and the home secretary. Reluctant to resume their dealings, Antoine demands a 50% reduction, to which Bella counters with a 20% offer, promising to follow up with details later.

Kevin dials Maria, inquiring about the resident of Meadow Stone Court. She reveals that his name is Alan Rusby (Nigel Lindsay). Flashbacks flood Kevin's mind, revisiting the harrowing memory of Rusby sexually assaulting young Kevin (Jack Rowan). From an upper-floor window, Bella watches silently. A guard alerts Paul to Jan's departure, prompting him to order her pursuit. Eddie laments Bella's overprotective nature and Kevin's constant absence, while Gina recounts how Harry disrupted her exam to bring her to this tumultuous family affair.

At The Falkland Arms, Alice confides in Jan, revealing that her partner had been exchanging texts with another woman while they shared intimate moments in bed. Nearby, Fisk eavesdrops intently from the confines of a parked van. Meanwhile, in Amsterdam, Harry inquiries about El Youfsi, and tensions escalate to the brink of violence. A motorcycle-riding individual flees the scene, pursued relentlessly by Harry. The biker loses control and attempts to escape on foot, but Harry swiftly apprehends him.

In Cotswold, Eddieconfesses to Gina that he feels adrift and uncertain. Back at The Falkland Arms, Alice persists in probing Jan about her reasons for staying with Conrad, learning that Harry is currently in Antwerp. Elsewhere, Harry unleashes a hail of bullets within a warehouse and lobs a grenade, causing a stampede for safety. He methodically navigates the facility, terminating anyone within his sights. As he approaches a dying man, he flashes a photograph of Brendan and Seraphina.

At Cotswold, Conrad asserts Harry's loyalty with fervor, but Maeve confronts him about why he intimidated Jan in her own home. Suspicious, he demands to see the text message that, according to her, Richie sent, alerting her to Seraphina and Brendan's captivity. Enraged, he smashes an object through a mirror and insists on seeing the evidence. Maeve cautions that their family's bond will crumble if trust is shattered. Harry updates Conrad, disclosing that Richie has enlisted the Mexicans to capture Seraphina and Brendan, who are now being transported by the Moroccan cartel to an airfield near Amsterdam. Harry calculates he's two hours away from the location.

At the airfield, two individuals lift the lids of crates to uncover Brendan and Seraphina, unconscious and wearing gas masks. Shortly thereafter, they are bound to chairs. Kevin reports to Conrad that the Lopez warehouse in the west port is heavily fortified. Conrad proposes brokering a deal with Jaime Lopez, but Kevin remembers Archie's claim that Jaime refuses all associations with them.

Back at The Falkland Arms, Alice praises Jan as a true friend before excusing herself to the restroom. Fisk texts her, urging her to stay focused on her mission. In Cotswold, Eddie admits to Gina that, though he dislikes many, he harbors no ill will towards her, likening his feelings to a mirror reflection. He concludes that his attempts, however, were worth it, and they share a tender kiss. Returning to their conversation at The Falkland Arms, Alice and Jan discuss rogue males, murderers, and gangsters when Paul interrupts, instructing Jan to accompany him. As she departs, he threatens Alice with repercussions if she doesn't return to London. Fisk catches every word. Paul questions Jan about Alice's true nature, and she reassuress him she is merely a friend. Upon her return to Cotswold, Jan catches sight of Gina with Eddie.

Brendan is overwhelmed by a torrent of fear, convinced that his demise is imminent. Seraphina, sensing his despair, sternly urges him to regain his composure, hinting that perhaps Richie's men had been tipped off about their whereabouts. He fiercely rejects the notion. Just then, a man meticulously places a laptop on the table before them, and Jaime enters the scene, introducing the man to the group. Seraphina sweetens the deal, declaring that Conrad is willing to match Richie's offer and add an additional five million to the pot. She mentions Conrad's racial slur against his father in Las Vegas, promising an apology along with the doubled payment. Brendan, initially attempting to brush it off as "water under the bridge," quickly retracts his words. However, Jaime, remembering Conrad's descent into madness, declines Seraphina's generous proposition and signals Richie that they are prepared.

At Cotswold, Richie engages in a video conference with Maeve, Kevin, and Conrad. He admits to once holding respect for Maeve but declares that such reverence is now extinguished. Conrad, fueled by rage, vows to make Richie pay dearly, his words echoing with a sinister promise to consume his face. The screen pivots to a live feed, revealing Seraphina, Brendan, and a masked figure gripping a roaring chainsaw. Brendan, pleading for his life, turns his gaze to Maeve for salvation. Richie, unmoved, utters the phrase "An eye for an eye," justifying the grim spectacle as retribution for crossing him. The masked man ignites the chainsaw's blades, and Harry arrives outside the facility, briefed by Kevin on the unfolding drama.

Harry promptly contacts Donnie (Alex Fine) and requests a connection to Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer), who is aboard a plane. She, sensing a tension, asks Harry if he's been avoiding her. He denies her suspicions and humbly asks for a favor. Meanwhile, Maeve and Conrad witness the chainsaw slice through Brendan's flesh, splattering Seraphina's face with blood. Richie's laughter echoes through the entire ordeal, unyielding and cold. Jaime receives a call, his voice urgent as he commands "Stop!" before informing Kat that it's already too late. The live feed blanks out into darkness, while Kevin offers comfort to the shattered Maeve. Seraphina, shattered, grapples with the horror of the moment.

Kat informs Harry that he will soon receive a call from Jaime. Harry expresses his gratitude, and she playfully reminds him that he owes her one. The tension in the air is thick, each moment pregnant with anticipation and dread.
