My Dearest Nemesis – K-drama Episode 6 1

Ju-yeon leads her to a serene spring, where he beams with joy as they partake of its crystal-clear waters. When she accidentally slips, his reflexes kick in, catching her just in time. However, his sudden, inexplicable push sends her reeling in confusion.

Upon their return, CEO An greenlights a partnership with Yongsung. A flashback reveals Ju-yeon's strategic unveiling of his true identity, fostering trust and announcing that Yongsung will pour investments into Ganghan's hospital charity and infrastructural projects.

During the ride back, Ju-yeon expresses gratitude for Su-jeong's diligent efforts and seeks permission to play his playlist. While he savors every note, she finds herself increasingly irked by his apparent avoidance of their kiss.

When he drops her off, she finally confronts him about the previous night. He nonchalantly dismisses it as a mere mistake, a statement that inflames her anger. In retaliation, she sharply retorts that she doesn't perceive him as a romantic interest and dashes inside.

Unable to shake it off, Su-jeong finds herself dialing his number in the dead of night. To her astonishment, he has no recollection of the kiss. Instead, he misconstrues the "mistake" as Su-jeong inadvertently getting them both drunk and then ditching him for a phone call. She's left in disbelief, while he's perturbed by her insensitive remark about not seeing him as a man worthy of her affection.

The following morning, he goes to great lengths to exude masculinity in every conceivable way. Desperate for tips, he even seeks advice from Kwon, whose husband is notably younger. A thought crosses his mind: perhaps something untoward transpired at Ganghan, prompting his abrupt departure.

At the office, he singles out Su-jeong and generously treats her entire team to an opulent buffet. His female rings superior, sensing an underlying story, mocks Su-jeong for possibly climbing the corporate ladder through romantic means. Ju-yeon, overhearing the conversation once more, is plunged into disappointment.

At this crucial juncture, Kwon confides in him a momentous secret: he has finally secured Grandmother's blessing! She intends to proclaim to the world that he is her grandson. Yongsung was her life's passion, and she desires the same dedication from her successor. Kwon has vouched for him, emphasizing his relentless commitment to work and his lack of a personal life. Reflecting on his cherished moments with Su-jeong, he dismisses them as a futile waste of time and resolves not to jeopardize his relationship with Grandmother.

Returning to Su-jeong, she illustrates her dilemma through a hypothetical scenario to her colleague, Jun-su. He assertively declares that the guy, without a doubt, harbors feelings for the girl but pretends to have forgotten their kiss out of fear of rejection. Su-jeong chuckles at the notion of Ju-yeon being cowed by such fears. However, when he summons her, he merely presents her with a bonus for securing Ganghan's deal.

At home, she spots the romance manga he had lent her and is incensed, rushing to confront him. In her fantasies, he asks her if she enjoyed the kiss, but she is abruptly brought back to reality as he opens the door. She lambasts his poor taste in mangas, joking that he will remain single forever. Their argument ensues, culminating in her agreement to Ha-jin's blind date proposal.

Well, Ha-jin and Shin-won are absolutely thrilled. Indeed, he is also at the restaurant, lending a helping hand wherever needed. He harbors a hope that Ha-jin might reconsider and grant him the opportunity to court her. Yet, his intentions only serve to make her feel uneasy. As he prepares to depart, fate throws him into the path of his ex, Eun-hee, who is filled with regret for having ended their relationship. He clarifies his stance simply: when a relationship is on, it's full steam ahead; when it's off, it's a clean slate. Recognizing that the same principle applies to his dynamics with Ha-jin, he resolves to give her some space.

Elsewhere, Su-jeong finds herself on a blind date with Ji-wu, but her thoughts keep wandering back to Ju-yeon, just as his are firmly fixed on her. At work, the frosty atmosphere between them is palpable. As Ju-yeon prepares to leave with his grandmother, Ji-wu arrives to pick up Su-jeong, coinciding with an already subdued Ju-yeon's evening despite receiving an award for his philanthropic endeavors. Present at the event is the chaebol heir from Gureum, the very man who had previously hit on Su-jeong. He sniggers as the crowd heaps praises on Ju-yeon, heralding him as the next great chairman. However, Ju-yeon's grandmother dismisses such notions, insisting that only the most capable will inherit the mantle. She reminisces fondly about her late son, declaring him the only true heir worthy of the name.

She lavishly praises Ju-yeon for his remarkable achievements and, as a token of her appreciation, decides to reward him by publicly acknowledging their relationship. In a moment of solitude, the heir of Gureum mocks Ju-yeon, only to have champagne hurled at him by Ju-yeon, who reminds him that even Gureum bends to the will of Yongsung.

Transitioning to their second date, Ji-wu expresses a desire to shop in Yongsung, with Su-jeong gracefully accompanying him. Their chemistry is undeniable as Ji-wu flirts in a charmingly cheesy manner, tickling Su-jeong's funny bone. Meanwhile, Ju-yeon finds himself brooding at a concert, where he bumps into a girl who casually mentions not seeing someone as a romantic prospect. This encounter jogs his memory, and he is startled by the recall of their kiss.

As My Dearest Nemesis Episode 6 draws to a close, Ju-yeon storms into a store still clad in his concert attire, forcefully pulling Su-jeong into a fitting room. Amidst the urgent pounding on the door by an oblivious employee, he confesses that she was the recipient of his very first kiss.
