Elsewhere, Soo-hyun and Jun-seok conspire to mint "Yoo Jin-woo – the brand," likening him to the vast, enigmatic sea: a once-forgotten tide now on the brink of a colossal wave of greatness. As the next round of "Star Rise" unfolds, Jin-woo and his partner stage a performance that stops the show, their synergy electric and unforgettable. In stark contrast, Ji-yeong and Ha-na stumble, their routine marred by Ha-na's unforeseen blunder. Desperate to salvage the situation, the production director orders a strategic edit, framing Ji-yeong as the scapegoat.

Elsewhere, Shim Ji-woo convenes with a factory official, uncovering the surprising buzz surrounding Jin-woo's signature headband. Concurrently, Soo-hyun and Jun-seok find themselves at a crucial meeting, confronting accusations of school violence against Shim Jin-woo. They stand as steadfast guardians, passionately defending Jin-woo's name. Upon their return to the café, Shim Jin-woo reveals his decision to back the factory, a revelation that signals his understanding of his mother's vision. Soo-hyun, witnessing this pivotal moment, is swept by a tide of relief and joy, his heart swelling with pride.

The following day, an apprehensive Pandora employee approaches Jun-seok with disturbing news: Yoo Jin-woo's car accident might have an ominous connection to drugs. As the team tunes in to the latest installment of "Star Rise," they are left astounded by the doctored footage that portrays Jin-woo in an unflattering light, as someone rude and disrespectful. Jun-seok conveys his suspicions about drugs to Soo-hyun, adding yet another layer of friction to their already tense relationship.

At the trainee camp, Jin-woo confronts his partner after catching a glimpse of the edited footage. His partner confesses that a certain Chris had warned him to coerce Jin-woo into withdrawing from the competition, lest Soo-hyun face untold repercussions. To bolster his claim, the threat even includes Soo-hyun's business card as tangible proof of Chris's sinister intentions.

Soo-hyun's meticulous investigation eventually uncovers Hyun-cheol as the mastermind behind the manipulated footage. Jun-seok visits Hyun-cheol, pleading with him to channel his vendetta solely towards the adults. Hyun-cheol, however, steadfastly refuses. He recounts how Soo-hyun had disrespected him during the mournful period of his adopted sister's demise, making it abundantly clear that he intends to stand his ground.

The narrative circles back to the opening sequence of the series, where the live competition is in full swing. Jin-woo is nowhere to be found, prompting Soo-hyun to embark on a frantic search. In a nail-biting climax, she locates him perched precariously on the rooftop and manages to persuade him to descend just in the nick of time for his performance to commence.
