As for Lars, he is also tormented by apparitions from his earlier years. Recall his mention of his Christian upbringing? A chilling flashback reveals children surrounding him, bullying him relentlessly and chanting insults, branding him a faggot. Lars awakens abruptly, and there stands Masha, handing him a notebook and instructing him to jot down every happening of the forthcoming day.

The morning arrives, and the ensemble convenes to dissect the essence of dreams. It transpires that Masha might be orchestrating their visions and dreams, which appear to mirror their innermost fears and problems. With the treatment seemingly yielding positive results, the group unanimously decides to continue their course and ingest more medication the next day. With the implementation of the "buddy system," Carmel expresses skepticism about how it will interact with her current prescribed drugs.

However, Masha drops a bombshell of her own. Grappling with death threats, she confesses to a startling affair with Carmel's husband. This revelation strikes Carmel like a thunderbolt, igniting a fierce desire for vengeance within her.

It transpires that Carmel has journeyed to Tranquillum with the intention of "studying" Masha, seeking inspiration to elevate herself as both an individual and a partner. Masha, eager to purge Carmel's heart of hatred, confessionally admits that her husband held no significance in her life. With this revelation now in the open, our ensemble embarks on ingesting their medications, setting the stage for their next venture. Delilah harbors apprehensions, fearing that they might be rushing the established protocol.

Meanwhile, Masha appears to be succumbing to temptation, indulging in cake the preceding night and dismissing the looming large lawsuit that threatens Tranquillum's tranquility. The drugs take effect, leading Tony and Francis to share a passionate kiss outdoors, a development that has been simmering for quite some time and is now finally unfolding in a most satisfying manner.

However, this heartfelt moment is abruptly interrupted by Tony's confession that he has contemplated ending his life and committing suicide in the past. Transitioning from such a dark revelation to this hopeful euphoria marks a significant journey, one that Francis listens to intently. Carmel, unburdening her soul to Lars, confesses the true purpose behind her presence at Tranquillum.

In contrast, Ben and Jessica find themselves as outliers, lacking substantial involvement or purpose in the unfolding narrative. Jessica's traumatic experience in this episode stems from losing her nose in a vision. Elsewhere, Napoleon, Heather, and Zoe revel in their high, with Zoe wandering off on her own and noticing a figure ambling through the trees. Heather and Napoleon follow suit, ultimately encountering Zack with Zoe.

The situation takes a dramatic downturn when Zack confides in Heather about the medication he had been prescribed, revealing a chilling detail: a component of these drugs seemingly incited suicidal thoughts. To add insult to injury, Heather emphasizes this part with particular emphasis. Upon this devastating revelation, Heather erupts into screams and is hastily ushered away for medical attention.

Upon discovering that they had all encountered Zack, Masha ponders the broader implications of this development. For the moment, her concerns lead her to check on Napoleon, who openly admits he's grappling with forgiving Heather in the wake of the earlier, earth-shattering revelation. As their conversation unfolds, Masha assents to aiding in the reunification of their son. Overhearing this exchange, Delilah is consumed by apprehension about the potential ramifications. She seeks clarification from Yao, speculating that this incident might be linked to the tragic events that befell Connolly, although the exact nature of this protocol remains shrouded in mystery. One thing is undeniable: Delilah is eager to flee, to extricate themselves while there's still a chance.

Switching back to Masha, we catch a glimpse into her past where she had a daughter, a poignant memory marred by the heartbreaking circumstance of her being struck by a car.
