Episode 3 of Ninja Kamui kicks off with a grizzly scene, where an aristocrat and his loyal bodyguard meet their untimely demise at the hands of a dozen demonic figures, or so it seems. In reality, this was the残忍的手笔 of a dwarf assassin dispatched to Master Yamazi, who, for his subsequent prey, proposes the name Joe Logan, alias Higan. Yamazi delves into the exiles' plight, stating that the clan now views them not as Ninja but as traitors and foes upon their defection. He insists that each and every one of them must be terminated promptly to prevent their secrets from spilling into the world.

Ninja Kamui – Season 1 Episode 3 1

The man in a tailored suit issues the assassin the task of eliminating Higan, a prospect that fills the latter with elation, considering Higan stands as one of, or perhaps the most exceptional Ninja the clan has ever nurtured. Higan has mastered numerous combat techniques and accomplished an innumerable amount of assassin missions, cementing his status as a legend within his circle. Master Yamazi reveals that they had already terminated Higan once but, somehow, he rose from the grave, prompting suspicions of an ancient technique being employed.

As the narrative unfolds, we encounter Zai, a fearsome and corrupt Ninja whose twisted pleasure lies in slaying exiles and defectors. Zai once clashed with Higan but emerged victorious only in defeat. Meanwhile, Mike engages in an intimate conversation with his senior, who doubles as his former partner. The latter cautions Mike against digging deeper, warning him that it could lead to him losing his job for absolutely no good reason. Mike's ex-partner also discloses his awareness of Mike and Joe's recent encounter in a dilapidated diner.

Yet, this revelation doesn't dissuade Mike in the slightest. Instead, he subtly lets it slip that he suspects AUZA, a prominent company, to be intertwined with the case. Upon hearing this, Mike's partner is visibly distressed and abruptly departs.

At his abode, Mike confidently unfolds to Higan the intriguing detail that the blades wielded by his assailants during the attack were crafted from an exclusive alloy, the patent of which is firmly gripped by AUZA. Furthermore, Mike divulges that AUZA's influence even extends to the FBI, weaving a web of intrigue and power. Over a shared drink, Mike and Higan agree to collaborate on unraveling this complex case, enlisting the adept assistance of Emma in their endeavor.

Emma, after diving deep into her research, reveals that AUZA's tentacles reach into every conceivable sector, from military to telecommunications, casting a long shadow over numerous domains. She shares whispers of a grim fate awaiting anyone who dares to inconvenience the company, meeting their untimely demise under a shroud of mystery and perplexity. The unfortunate man glimpsed at the film's inception falls into this ominous category.

As the narrative unfolds, Yamazi makes a poignant visit to AUZA's CEO, issuing a stern warning: never to strike against any ninja, whether exiled or active, without his explicit consent. Meanwhile, Higan and his allies find themselves under siege by a cloaked ninja, who unleashes a barrage of rockets in their direction. Yet, even this formidable adversary is no match for Higan's unparalleled prowess, ultimately succumbing to his expertise.

As the episode draws to a close, Higan's phone rings, and the expression on his face hints at a recognizable voice on the other end. The caller remains a shroud of mystery, yet Higan's reaction suggests a familiarity that promises to uncover more layers of this intricate plot.
