Episode 2 of "No Tail to Tell" begins with Eun-ho running off, leaving Si-yeol in disbelief, thinking she's gone mad. Eun-ho realizes that her powers have been greatly diminished. She creates a scene at a temple until Lord Pagun arrives. He reveals that her latest act—which led to the death of a human—was a sin.

The scene cuts to CEO Lee Yoon's secretary, Choi, burying Bong-chang, the fired driver. They had tried to make him the scapegoat, but he backed out when Si-yeol didn't accept his confession. Furious, Lee killed Bong-chang. By helping Lee, Eun-ho created the butterfly effect that led to Bong-chang's murder.
At present, Eun-ho believes she can redeem herself by granting a good wish. She teleports Si-yeol home, and he is fascinated by her powers. In his excitement, he holds her hand, and she is embarrassed by her growing attraction to him. Back to business, she convinces him to wish for justice. It works—CCTV footage is restored, showing CEO Lee Yoon hitting Woo-seok and driving off. Bong-chang's body is found. Eun-ho drops Lee as her client and makes him confess to all his crimes. Eun-ho's scale balances itself, and she recovers some of her powers.
As a gift, she gives Si-yeol a suitcase, hinting that he will be going abroad soon. They end up bantering as she claims he will soon be rich enough to become her client. She blushes when he asks for her name and disappears. Right then, Hong Yeon-su, the team leader of the South Korean Soccer Association, reveals that Si-yeol has replaced Woo-seok as the striker on the youth national team. Before he leaves for his training, he visits Woo-seok, and they agree to play together soon.
The scene cuts to a few years later. Eun-ho has taken a break from her wish-granting business, but this also means that she has run out of money.
As Si-yeol joins the British team, Thames, he finds himself under the strict leadership of a captain who doesn't let the team celebrate their wins and even micromanages their diets. The team can't wait for him to leave, but unfortunately for them, they extend his contract for five years despite his financial struggles. Despite this, Si-yeol continues to be one of the highest-paid players in the league and leads the scoring race.
Meanwhile, Woo-seok is in a slump, unable to play well and having been cut from the local football division. When he tries out again, his own coach turns him down. His father tries to cheer him up, but he remains miserable.
Si-yeol's face is all over South Korea due to his numerous brand deals, much to Eun-ho's annoyance. However, she realizes that he's now rich enough to be her client. When he arrives in the country, she greets him, but he doesn't remember her. Thinking she's a fan, he signs her shirt and leaves. Offended, she breaks open his suitcase (the one she had gifted) and leaves her business card.
It seems that Si-yeol has become narcissistic, going on about his own book and his fame. Yeon-su, now his agent, is amused by his endearing nature. He tries to meet up with Woo-seok, but the boy avoids him as he spends his nights as a delivery worker.
Eun-ho goes through her hobbies quickly, even creating a popular K-pop group before dropping them as she gets bored. She's annoyed that Si-yeol hasn't contacted her yet, as she wants to buy a mansion. She shows up while he's having an ice bath and he finally remembers her. She makes it seem like a grand favor by taking him on as a client but is shocked when he refuses. He has everything he wants and no further wishes.
Once she leaves, Woo-seok coincidentally shows up to deliver Si-yeol's food. It's a tense reunion as Woo-seok is bitter. Si-yeol wants to help and suggests using Eun-ho's wish. Right then, Yeon-su gets some shocking news.
The next day, Woo-seok wakes up rich and famous, while Si-yeol wakes up as a poor, average local player. It seems their lives have been switched. Eun-ho arrives and says she has granted Woo-seok's wish, but how she grants it is up to her.
This scenario depicts a fascinating tale of life swaps and the consequences of one's actions on others. It's a reminder that our choices have a ripple effect and can drastically change the lives of those around us.
