Switching to the present narrative, Chaudhary is abruptly seized and escorted to meet Reuben. His captors, leaving no room for doubt, strip-search him thoroughly and employ evasive maneuvers to shake off Meghna and Isaac, who relentlessly pursue them. Their efforts pay off momentarily as they manage to lose their tail.
However, Meghna, known for her acumen, swiftly reverses the car's direction. She opts for an alternate route, her instincts leading her inexorably to Kizire Senior Secondary School. Convinced that this abandoned school, being Christmas holidays, serves as their hideout, Meghna and Isaac close in. What they hadn't anticipated was Daniel, lurking stealthily in the shadows, his sniper rifle poised and ready.
Inside the school, Chaudhary confronts Reuben, who confesses that Ansari was killed by a sniper. He admits to having threatened Bajoria, driven mostly by the fact that the hotels were built with his father's money, not Reddy's. The abrupt departure of Jonathan Thom to a summit in Nagaland at the eleventh hour raises suspicions, especially since his priorities clearly revolved around money. It seems something urgent "came up," possibly intertwined with Rose's machinations.
Chaudhary harbors a convinced belief that Rachel's demise is intrinsically tied to Rose's illicit affair, deducing a startling possibility—that Thom could very well be Rose's biological father. This revelation takes a dark and lurid turn, given Thom's depraved acts of intimacy with his own flesh and blood. Should Rose indeed be the perpetrator behind her father's murder, such a motive would make grim sense. Moreover, it sheds light on the profound disarray in her psyche. He discovers that the Narcotics Department has compiled a case file against Reddy, yet the specifics of the charges remain a mystery, and the file itself has inexplicably vanished—a clear indication of a high-level cover-up.
Amidst this turmoil, Guddu's grandparents arrive to visit Renu and to take Guddu away from the chaotic scene. It transpires that Raghu has been hospitalized, undergoing surgery and confined to his bed for several months, yet his exact whereabouts still remain elusive.
As for Chaudhary, he unearths the harrowing truth behind Ansari's untimely death. It transpires that Bittu Rehman, in a moment of confession, revealed the damning secrets to Daniel, ultimately leading to his superior's untimely end.
When Chaudhary uncovers the truth, his mood darkens considerably. But Bittu spills the beans, revealing that Thom's security officer, Daniel, orchestrated the hit. Daniel is none other than the owner of Kohima Tours and Travels, where he works, and in return for being privy to information about Rose, he struck a deal to forgive the youngster's indiscretions. Meanwhile, SHO Virk storms in to interrogate Ken's nurse about her statement implicating Daniel. It transpires that she was merely shielding him, her initial claims a tissue of lies. The mysterious call that prompted Daniel's abrupt departure appears intertwined with the orphanage mentioned earlier, hinting at a puppeteer orchestrating it all. A stunning revelation follows: Daniel is Uncle Ken's own flesh and blood, placing Ken at the helm of these sordid affairs! As the episode draws to a close, Meghna storms over to Daniel's place, ready for a confrontation. Tragically, the encounter ends with her being shot in the throat.
