The fourth episode of Season 1 of "Paris Has Fallen" kicks off with the dramatic arrival of a plane touching down at Orly Airport. Amidst this bustling scene, a clever cleaner exploits her position to sneak vital information about Pearce from the air traffic control tower. Once her covert task is accomplished, she promptly reaches out to Pearce to relay the intelligence.
Elsewhere, Vincent grapples with the haunting reality of the President's actions, his trust in her wavering. Disheartened, he exits the palace that very morning, heading towards his workplace with a heavy heart. The authorities remain relentless in their hunt for Pearce's accomplices, having already uncovered one individual linked to the embassy attack. Vincent keeps Zara abreast of the President's situation, informing her that all her public appearances have been canceled, and the palace is under strict lockdown measures.
As they scrutinize their suspect, Shaun, he catches wind of their presence and attempts a hasty escape. Cornered and desperate, he opens fire on them, ultimately meeting his fate. Inside his vehicle, they discover the lifeless body of a woman, swiftly identified as Annette, who ran a skydiving business alongside her husband at a modest airstrip. This grim discovery adds another layer of complexity to the unfolding mystery.
The husband remains elusive, necessitating a psychic pursuit to uncover his whereabouts. Additionally, they harness the GPS installed in his vehicle to decipher Shaun's recent movements. Meanwhile, Freja keeps her supervisor, Richard, abreast of Pearce's impending actions. These endeavors, whatever their nature, will undoubtedly ripple through the market, yet Freja assures Richard that Pearce's sole obsession lies in his vendetta. Richard counsels her to maintain vigilance over him, instructing her to intervene decisively if he poses a threat.
At present, Pearce, Freja, and their entourage find themselves at a modest airstrip, conspiring to somehow commandeer an aircraft. During the journey to confront Annette's spouse, Zara confesses to Vincent that she has disclosed the truth to Thea, who has subsequently deserted her. Zara expresses uncertainty about Thea's potential reconciliation. The conversation shifts to the President, whom Vincent承认has maintained an intermittent romance with. He acknowledges his turmoil over the President's actions but asserts that their relationship has terminated.
At the airstrip, Pearce and his cronies infiltrate the air traffic control tower, compelling a cargo plane to descend onto their modest landing strip. Alas, Zara and Vincent's arrival inadvertently disrupts their meticulously crafted scheme. It takes a considerable amount of time for Vincent and Zara to discern the anomaly upon their arrival. At first sight, the scene seems unremarkable until Zara detects bloodstains on a windowpane and is abruptly assaulted by a pseudo-staff member. Simultaneously, Vincent notices peculiarities when the plane's co-pilot is shot during their conversation.
He and the aircraft's security officer hastily boarded the plane, with the pilot attempting to initiate takeoff. Nevertheless, Pearce's menacing threat to terminate his family's lives halted the process abruptly. Meanwhile, Zara was subdued and forcibly brought onto the aircraft. Under Pearce's command, the plane soared into the sky once again.
Throughout the brief journey, Pearce endeavored to elucidate his vengeful mission to Zara and Vincent. He sensed that Vincent, as a soldier, would grasp his plight. On the opposite end of the plane, Freja ensured the Uranium was securely aboard. Upon completing their task, they prepared for a daring skydiving exit, intending to leave their captives behind.
Despite Zara and Vincent's valiant efforts to counterattack, they couldn't prevent Freja and Pearce from escaping. This revelation heightened their anxiety, as it became evident that Pearce was constructing a dirty bomb using the Uranium.
In response, the President issued a directive to the police, instructing them to locate the bomb before she was compelled to evacuate the city. As for Vincent and Zara, they were plagued by suspicions that Pearce had infiltrated their midst with spies. He seemed to anticipate their every move. Vincent confessed about his ongoing relationship with the President, prompting Zara to urge him to terminate it, fearing it compromised his judgment. However, upon returning home, Zara discovered Thea packing and persuaded her to stay.
Elsewhere, a young woman reached out to Pearce through a disposable phone. Pearce and Freja enlisted the help of Farid, a bomb expert, to craft their deadly dirty bomb. Farid and Pearce, old acquaintances, were deeply entangled in this perilous endeavor.
Later that evening, Vincent found the President in a state of sheer terror. He vowed to shield her until the very end.
