Poker Face – Season 2 Episode 7 1

Tragedy strikes as Bill, bound by corporate directives, finds himself compelled to let go of some staff, including Kendall, whom he hopes will be prodded into pursuing his dreams by this adversity. Far from inspired, Kendall, consumed by anger, inadvertently assists a shoplifter named Juice. In gratitude, Juice buys Kendall a round of drinks, and during this casual conversation, Kendall casually mentions the heist plot that forms the backbone of his script, unaware of the wheels his words would set in motion.

Juice, recognizing the potential not just as a narrative but as a viable criminal enterprise, pitches the idea of turning Kendall's fictional heist into a real-life score. Considering Kendall's financial need to make the move to Hollywood, he soon finds himself swayed by Juice's persuasive argument. They devise a meticulous plan to strike the store during the brief window between the cleaning crew's departure and the arrival of the armored truck carrying the day's cash.

Armed with a Polaroid photo to obscure the security camera in the vault room, Kendall employs a UV light to decipher Bill's fingerprints on the vault keypad, enhanced by the oily residue left by his beloved crisps. As Kendall punches in various combinations, Juice keeps watch, ears pricked for any unusual sounds. Inside the vault, Kendall discovers a stash far exceeding the anticipated $200,000, eagerly filling bags with the loot and even stashing a portion in his employee locker for safekeeping.

Just when victory seems within grasp, Kendall is confronted by an unexpected visitor: Bill, clad in pajamas and apparently spending the night. Despite Kendall's masked appearance, Bill recognizes him instantly. Before Kendall can utter a word of explanation, Juice干预, gun in hand, dispatching Bill with a single shot. He assures Kendall that he'll handle the body, leaving Kendall reeling in shock and disbelief.

We jump back a few days prior to the heist, where Charlie is employed at an Indian restaurant, darting around delivering food. One such delivery brings her to Bill, and a charming flirtatious exchange ensues between the two. As the eve of Bill's birthday arrives – the very day of the impending heist – he invites Charlie out for dinner.

Charlie's co-worker Jenny, an avid romance-comedy enthusiast, offers her some surefire dating tips. Taking Jenny's advice to heart, Charlie approaches Kendall to inquire about the perfect gift for Bill. Kendall suggests something linked to Bill's cherished bike.

On the night of their date, Charlie arrives, presenting Bill with a guardian bell for his bike. Bill's face lights up with delight! He then whisks her away to a romantic dinner he's arranged inside the SuperSave, complete with a cozy setup. He confesses to Charlie that he's been living out of his office, with the security cameras conveniently on loop. He also reveals a button that can summon the police within five minutes.

Their conversation drifts to Kendall, and Bill expresses his hope that being fired will nudge Kendall towards pursuing his Hollywood dreams. The pair enjoys a wonderful night together, culminating in Bill expressing his desire to see Charlie again, to which she responds with optimism.

However, when Charlie receives a food delivery call at the SuperSave the following day, she's met with a scene of chaos – the place is crawling with police investigating a break-in. A news reporter informs the cameras that approximately $400,000 has been stolen.

Meanwhile, Kendall attempts to access his employee locker to retrieve the stolen money but is denied entry. Charlie scans the store and eventually stumbles upon Bill's body, cleverly concealed in plain sight as a Santa Claus mannequin. The police speculate that this was a botched heist, but Charlie strenuously argues that Bill adored this store and would never dream of robbing it. When they mention the Polaroid gimmick, reminiscent of a scene from Mission: Impossible III, Charlie's suspicions turn towards Kendall.

Kendall returns to his abode only to find himself cornered by Juice, who had been glued to the news and discovered the existence of additional funds hidden in the safe, realizing that Kendall had deceived him. A fierce altercation ensues, culminating in Kendall plunging one of his prized collectible swords into Juice.

Later that night, Charlie, with stealth and determination, glides into the room housing the employee lockers and expertly breaches Kendall's locker. Inside, she stumbles upon the sack brimming with cash, and the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. However, her revelation is cut short as Kendall himself appears, a gun aimed deadly seriously at her. He ushers her out of the store, but her revelation that she has already pressed the alarm button summoning the police catches him off guard.

Their exit is abruptly halted by Juice, still wielding his sword and now brandishing a machine gun, who unleashes a hail of bullets upon them. A harrowing chase ensues within the confines of the store, with the tension mounting with each passing second, until Juice, exhausted and wounded, finally succumbs to his injuries.

Just as Kendall inches closer to freedom, the wail of sirens pierces the air, signaling the arrival of the police. With no escape in sight, Kendall reluctantly raises his hands in surrender.
