I bet you didn't anticipate a Pac-Man-inspired twist in your bingo lineup today, huh? Yet, lo and behold, here we find ourselves in Episode 6 of Secret Level, where the narrative whisks us away to an alternate realm. In this peculiar world, a test tube shatters, heralding the awakening of a humanoid creature. An AI entity named Puck emerges, designating this newcomer as the Chosen, the sole individual capable of escaping the labyrinthine maze.
Clad in a flowing robe, the Chosen ventures forth into an expansive jungle teeming with fruits identical to those cherished in the iconic game. Not long after, he discovers a sword lying aside, its blade gleaming in the dappled sunlight. Here, his mission is clear: to consume, or be consumed. The subtitles label him as the Swordsman, a moniker that fits our protagonist like a glove.
The Swordsman is swiftly plunged into this chaotic world, where creatures of varied sizes launch relentless attacks upon him. He flees from the menacing Ghosts, while Puck insists that consuming his adversaries is the key to thwarting them. Yet, there's a catch – he mustn't devour their eyes.
After a hearty feast, the Swordsman arrives at a temple, where he easily vanquishes the guardians. But then, an unexpected twist unfolds: Puck sprouts a mouth and inserts himself into the humanoid's body. The creature embraces Puck, undergoing a monstrous transformation. As they near the maze's exit, the Swordsman reaches deep within himself and extracts Puck from his chest, sacrificing his own life in the process.
The maze seals shut, and Puck, undeterred, repeatedly headbutts the door, emphasizing the principle that "strength lies in repetition."
