The sixth chapter of Season 2 of "Silo" kicks off with the looming specter of riots erupting throughout the Silo, as barricades block vital deliveries from reaching their destinations. An even more distressing revelation unfolds: someone has been lacing the food with rat poison, a grim act of sabotage.

Silo – Season 2 Episode 6 1

Knox, Shirley, and Martha find themselves reunited in the depths of Mechanical, where they spring into action without delay. A chilling suspicion dawns upon them—there might be a traitor within their ranks, and Bernard's sinister strategy is to pit the inhabitants of Mechanical against each other, tearing the very fabric of their community apart.

Down below, the residents are seething with discontent over the dwindling food supplies and contemplate betraying Knox and Shirley to ease their plight. However, Martha steps forward, her voice a beacon of clarity. She reminds them that giving in to Bernard's manipulation is precisely what he desires. They have always stood united, sharing their resources and ensuring that no one goes hungry, a testament to the provisions that recently rained down from the trash chute.

Rebels from Level 122 have sent a token of solidarity—a bounty of food accompanied by a message of gratitude for keeping the lights on. Their new rallying cry, "Juliette lives," echoes through the halls. Bernard, however, is not one to be outdone; he stations Raiders at every chute access, fortifying his grip on the supplies.

Paul introduces Felix, an aspiring doctor whose inexperience is as evident as his enthusiasm. His bedside manner leaves much to be desired, prompting the desperate need for another medical practitioner. Lo and behold, Pete Nichols arrives on the scene, accompanied by Kathleen, disguised as a woman in labor. Their journey was perilous, balancing on a knife's edge.

Pete's steady hands extract the bullet and administer the necessary care to Kennedy, who prefers to keep his counsel amid the crowd. Paul, thus, bears the burden of revelation alone. He unveils the chilling truth: the computers plunged into darkness because Juliette planted something on each one before their shutdown—a video that revealed the breathtaking beauty of the world beyond their confines.

He also brings up how he made a deal to firebomb them in exchange for a ton of drugs to make him forget everything – including that video.

Back up the Silo, Lukas continues to work for Bernard, while Camille very much is not. Bernard confronts her about helping Shirley and Knox, but in return, she brings up how vigilante justice is against the law, and uses Bernard’s own rules against him. Bernard tries a different tactic though and explains it was Robert who actually organized this mob justice, as a way of riling them up.

Over at the barricades, Amundsen finds himself forced to bring in Advanced Tactical Gear when the Mechanical gang decide to show up, ready to attack.

However, here he find out that the mole is someone called Diego, and he feeds back to Sims what’s going on. Specifically, how there’s a second group with a saw that can cut through concrete. Funnily enough, Sims and Camille discuss the ambush and try to work out what to do with this information.

Eventually they decide to tell the Raiders, but only at the last second. It’s enough time for them to gain ground and enlist another stand-off. This time, the barricade is to be put up at floor 120  -2 floors higher than the chutes they get their food from. This was the play all along, as the idea here is to bring in the forces and give them extra troops. 122 is a Farm Level, and of course that means they have their food and also the means to increase their forces.

As for Paul, he shows up to see Martha and explains that Carla hasn’t been sent in for processing. Sometimes with high-profile clients they’re taken to seclusion instead, which appears to be what’s happened here. In order to try and resolve this, Paul asks what happened to Meadows.

With the veil of truth lifted, Paul urgently radios Bernard, insisting on a thorough probe into Meadows' untimely demise. Yet, unexpectedly, communication is abruptly severed. Paul comes to the stark realization that his tenure as Sheriff has effectively ended. Yet, ironically, he also finds himself free from the tremors that once plagued him, a side effect of abstaining from those potent herbs. It seems he has discovered his true calling.

Elsewhere, Juliette awakens to find herself slowly recovering. To her surprise, it is the impostor Solo who has been nursing her back to health with antibiotics. However, his assistance comes with a heavy price. He has stolen the suit and now holds her captive, coercing her to repair the pump. Failure to comply means sacrificing her ability to aid her own Silo, and time is slipping through their fingers like sand through an hourglass.
