Back at Cliff House, Michaela engages in packing Simone's belongings amidst staff members who, realizing her impending dismissal, commence a subdued celebration. Meanwhile, Peter and Morgan join Devon and Simone at the hospital, where they receive the somber news of Ethan's multiple fractures. Devon and Morgan subsequently return to Cliff House, where Devon inquiries about Morgan's impending cruise to Palm Beach, set at dawn. Reluctantly, she concedes to his request and agrees to meet him post-gala.
Yet, upon searching for her father and Ray in the guesthouse, she discovers Bruce perilously perched by the cliff's edge and hastily pulls him to safety. Their subsequent search for Ray leads them to his scattered belongings on the shore. When Allie, Ray's wife, calls, Bruce answers, forcing Devon to reluctantly take the phone and confess her proximity to Ray.
At the hospital, Ethan awakens, his fury igniting upon sighting Simone. He castigates her for pushing him over the cliff, a claim Peter soothes by reassuring him it's merely a figment of his battered mind.
Does Simone face termination from her position? Upon returning home alongside Peter, Simone encounters the staff in an unsettlingly cheerful disposition.
