As Jinwoo's forces continue their relentless battle against the ants, Dong-Wook and his companions stand in awe, struggling to comprehend the unfolding events. Jinwoo assures Dong-Wook and his allies that he will clarify everything in due course, and promptly administers potions to Dong-Wook, Baek, and the rest, healing their wounds. However, the potion fails to work on Hae-In, much to Jinwoo's surprise, realizing that her hit points have dwindled to dangerously low levels. Baek alerts Jinwoo and Dong-Wook to the arrival of more ant magic beasts on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Woo and Go attend a crucial meeting. Go emphasizes the urgency of restoring the broadcast signals and prepares the medic and retrieval teams for impending action. Simultaneously, Chairman Matsumoto receives an update on Goto's status, with the caller speculating that Goto perished in a fierce battle on Jeju Island.

On the battlefield, Jinwoo intently analyzes the situation, instructing Choi and his comrades to adopt a more aggressive stance. He insists that they engage any ants that manage to slip past his soldiers. Jinwoo attempts to extract shadows from some of the ants, cautioning Choi and the others to keep his actions a closely guarded secret.

As Jinwoo prepares to advance, the formidable son of the queen ant makes his entrance, seeking out the hunters' king with a singular purpose. Suspicions linger thickly in the air; it is widely believed that this son is the one who dealt the fatal blow to Goto. Jinwoo steps forward to confront him. Meanwhile, amidst the chaos of the battlefield, a voice announced that the broadcast signal has been repaired, sparking the resumption of the broadcast.

The message resumes its flow, and Go's excitement is palpable as he watches Jinwoo arrive on Jeju Island. He harbors unwavering faith in Jinwoo's ability to thwart the son's ambitions. Jinwoo and the son engage in a fierce exchange of punches, each strike ringing out like thunder. Suddenly, the son injects Jinwoo with a lethal toxin, his eyes gleaming with malice.

Elsewhere, Matsumoto receives a grim update: half of his hunters have fallen. The informant informs him that the son is still alive and has retreated to his lair. Matsumoto, steel in his resolve, instructs his ally to rally the surviving hunters. They must regroup with the second strike team at sea before returning to the island to finish what they started.

Kanae's group catches wind of this grim news from the same informant. Minoru voices their dire prospects against the son's formidable strength. Simultaneously, Jinwoo manages to shove the son off, using the Player Log to neutralize the deadly toxin coursing through his veins. As the son transforms into a monstrous form, Jinwoo summons two gleaming swords to meet the challenge.

The battle intensifies, with Jinwoo unlocking a new skill: Mutilation, which he unleashes with devastating force against the son. The son tries to escape by taking to the skies, but Jinwoo, undeterred, catches up to him and delivers a blow that rocks the foundations of the battlefield. The son cries out in desperation, summoning his ants to his aid, but Jinwoo countermands them with his shadow soldiers, decimating the enemy's forces.

With the son defeated, Jinwoo rejoins Dong-Wook's group, where he attempts to administer the Elixir of Life to Hae-In. However, the Player Log delivers a cruel blow, informing him that the elixir will have no effect on Hae-In. The episode concludes with Jinwoo, a picture of despair and determination, pondering what fateful steps he must take to save Hae-In's life.
