Episode 4 of "Suits: LA" kicks off with Samantha assigning Rick and Stuart a high-stakes collaboration: to secure the release of their client, Enrico Colantoni, from prison. However, Stuart isn't one to dive into tasks blindly; he demands a quid pro quo – a Dungeons and Dragons game night scheduled for that Friday. After a brief haggle, Stuart relents, and both parties come to an accord.

Suits: LA – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Enrico insists that it's all a case of mistaken identity, oblivious to the incriminating footage of him wielding a chainsaw to carve a penis into his neighbor's hedges. What sparked this bizarre chain of events? It transpires that Colantoni's neighbor had pranked him during a rather尴尬 bathroom mishap, which was caught on tape. Thanks to this revelation, the charges are dropped, but Enrico remains dissatisfied.

A compromise is struck, with Colantoni securing a guest appearance on his neighbor's live stream. His motive? Jealousy over his kids finding his neighbor funnier. He yearns to reclaim his "cool dad" status by stealing the spotlight.

Elsewhere, Erica uncovers a damning revelation: Lester's name is being removed from the film he's slaving over. Suspicions fall on Samantha, prompting Erica to caution Ted to keep his mouth shut when confronting her. Inevitably, Ted's impulsiveness gets the better of him, leading to a fiery confrontation with Samantha. She warns that if it goes to court, Lester's darkest secrets will be dragged into the light, potentially ruining him.

Undeterred, Erica strategizes to expedite the trial, aiming to thwart the prosecution from building a stronger case and delving deeper into Lester's troubled past.

In undertaking this endeavor, however, it necessitated rushing the case, a situation Ted was ill-equipped to handle. Thus, he resorted to bluffing his way through, skillfully convincing the judge to cooperate, hoping to catch the prosecution off guard. Subsequently, he engaged in a conversation with Amanda, who expressed her apprehensions about the situation and sought his assistance with the case. To her credit, she made a dramatic entrance into the courtroom at the eleventh hour, catching the prosecution lawyer, Smith, completely off balance.

Erica, on the other hand, was far from pleased about being kept in the dark about these developments. Ultimately, they decided to confront the studio head, threatening them with dire consequences should they remove Lester's name from the movie credits. They warned that such an action would incur millions of dollars in audits, an expenditure the studio could ill afford, especially given the already struggling box office receipts of their films. To their relief, the studio acceded to Ted and Erica's demands, ensuring Lester's name remained intact in the credits.

Switching gears to New York in 2010, we revisit more flashbacks featuring Ted. Pellegrini makes an ominous appearance at the diner, threatening Eddie, which understandably upsets Ted. While rummaging through Samantha's belongings, Ted stumbles upon a letter from an LA firm offering her a job, a revelation that Samantha casually brushes off as routine but which clearly signals her intentions to leave the firm.

Later, Ted joins Eddie and Harvey Specter for drinks, where Harvey drops a bombshell: someone within Ted's office is leaking information. This revelation explains how Harvey learned about Ted's witness and subsequently had him eliminated.

As the episode draws to a close, we return to the present where Samantha confronts Ted, noting that he is no longer the man he once was. She reveals that she initially left the firm because her needs were not being met, and Ted was too preoccupied with the Pellegrini case. Meanwhile, Ted pays a visit to Rick, congratulating him on his new role as Head of Entertainment and inviting Amanda to join him in a sleek new office.
