Sweet Tooth – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Once there, Gus finds himself separated from Tommy and unexpectedly elevated to the throne of King for a single night. He adjusts to his unexpected new role with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. The children around him whisper tales of a virus that has plunged the world into oblivion, and of hybrids - the next evolutionary step, according to Bear's ominous proclamations.

Later, in a private moment, Bear confides in Gus, warning him about Jepp and revealing him as one of the dangerous individuals Gus's father had cautioned him against. As the truth slowly unfolds, Bear drops a bombshell - Tommy is actually one of the Last Men. Bear pleads with Gus to stay with them, but Gus is determined to hear the truth from Tommy himself.

Meanwhile, Aimee and her hybrid daughter Wendy embark on a mission to gather supplies, including precious books from the abandoned library. But the dangers of the Last Men still loom, patrolling the shadows. As the day wanes into night, they return to their sanctuary, only to be awoken in the dead of night by the clanging of their makeshift alarms - tin cans. It transpires that Wendy has a secret friend - a remarkable hybrid animal named Bobby, who possesses the remarkable ability to speak.

Elsewhere, Dr. Singh faces mounting pressure at home. Nancie, intent on eradicating the virus, proposes weekly random screenings. She even suggests unexpected, additional screenings, convinced that the recent spate of three viral cases in six months signifies a new wave. Unwavering in her resolve, she calls a council meeting to let the community decide their fate.

Meanwhile, Gus finally broke his silence and spoke to Tommy. He confessed to being a former member of the Last Men, admitting that back then, it was a matter of survival - either kill or be killed. Bear, however, refused to believe his words, but Gus was determined to stand by Tommy's side. He wrapped his arms around him and pleaded with the Animal Army not to harm him.

But it was of no use. The boys and girls dragged Tommy away to pass judgment on him. Somehow, Gus managed to get through to Bear, who assured them that they wouldn't execute Tommy Jepp. Tiger, however, was enraged and rallied the people against her.

Eventually, they freed Daisy, who happened to be a tiger. Gus stood in its path, managing to calm it down and pleading with the tiger not to harm Tommy. But the mutiny that gripped the group was too strong, and the Animal Army sided with Tiger, leaving Bear distraught and dumbfounded. She eventually left alone, while Tommy and Gus managed to sneak away unnoticed.

Outside, Singh and Nancie's argument escalated unexpectedly when the horse became startled and kicked her, knocking the woman down and fatally injuring her. Adi and Rani quickly decided to cover it up, while elsewhere, at the Preserve, Aimee used the radio to welcome everyone into the safety of their new home.
