Episode 10 of "Tastefully Yours" kicks off with an exhilarating announcement heralding the Hansang cook-off, pitting Jungjae against Motto. The prestigious panel of judges is revealed to comprise Chairman Han and Mathieu, the editor-in-chief of Diamant and the very French gentleman who had previously paid Jungjae a visit. The competition's theme, chicken, is declared, setting the stage for Team Jungjae to conceive a Korean-infused version of coq au vin. However, their quest for the perfect chicken proves futile as local stores and markets fail to meet their needs. Beom-woo, sensing a setup, suggests they broaden their search, even resorting to frozen chicken if necessary. Meanwhile, lurking in the shadows, Yeon-joo watches them scramble off.

Elsewhere in town, Sun-woo learns from a colleague that his mother has imposed restrictions on chicken distribution in Jungjae's vicinity. Sun-woo, himself present in the town, spots Yeon-joo strolling along the road and approaches her, though their conversation remains unheard.

The scene transitions to the next morning, where Motto opens its doors with Young-hye serving a dish of her own creation. Jungjae follows suit, drawing a crowd that includes several food influencers. At Jungjae, Chun-seung's father also arrives and expresses his approval of the makgeolli.

Young-hye's culinary masterpiece is presented to the judges, with Mathieu savoring every bite. As the judges, along with Producer Kim, make their way to Jungjae, Chairman Han confides in Kim her plans to expand her business empire. Victorious or not, she seeks only to publicize her nascent brand. Back at Motto, Young-hye reveals to Yu-jin that she relished cooking her own dishes and has decided to resign from her post at Motto.

A nostalgic flashback transports us to a pivotal conversation between Yeon-joo and Sun-woo, where Sun-woo reveals that Chairman Han has consistently held her restaurants and business enterprises in higher esteem than her own flesh and blood, her sons. Another poignant memory unfolds, portraying Chairman Han neglecting young Beom-woo, who instead found nourishment and affection from the comforting arms of his grandmother.

Present-day, Yeon-joo ventures to Motto, where she encounters Yu-jin. He offers her profound insights into Beom-woo's tumultuous past, sharing that the man underwent a transformation after his tenure at Jungjae. The judges soon arrive at Jungjae, greeted by a sumptuous plate of coq au vin. With a hint of curiosity akin to his previous visit at Motto, Matthieu inquires if any variations have been introduced to the classic dish.

The moment of truth arrives. Chairman Han unfolds a piece of paper, the ink clearly proclaiming Jungjae as the victorious recipient of more votes. Matthieu, privy to this information, is bewildered when Chairman Han pronounces it a draw. Enraged by this unexpected turn, Matthieu storms out, his frustration palpable.

Chairman Han proposes a redo of the culinary showdown between the two eateries, prompting Beom-woo to vehemently protest. Just as tensions escalate, Yeon-joo strides into the restaurant, boldly embracing the challenge. She urges Chairman Han to disregard the competition with the other establishment and solely focus on savoring her creations. If her cuisine fails to impress, Yeon-joo confidently declares that she'll shut down her restaurant herself. She invites Chairman Han for breakfast the very next morning.

Beom-woo, seeking to mend fences, attempts to apologize to Yeon-joo, but she insists he wait until the dust settles. Meanwhile, his phone buzzes with a message from Sun-woo, who invites him out for drinks. Over beverages, Sun-woo questions Beom-woo's intense dedication to preserving a modest eatery. Beom-woo replies that he yearns for a life beyond their past routines and ponders if Chairman Han truly finds joy in her current path.

The following dawn, Yeon-joo discovers a sunhat perched on the kitchen counter, accompanied by a heartfelt apology note from Beom-woo. The cameras are once again poised, and Chairman Han arrives punctually. Yeon-joo commences cooking, subsequently instructing Chun-seung to seat the brothers alongside Chairman Han at the same table. She then serves the meal, cleverly concealed beneath covers. To everyone's astonishment, Yeon-joo confesses to Chairman Han that she never intended her cuisine to be judged. She surrenders the competition. Instead, she unveils a humble, homely breakfast prepared for all.

Beom-woo and Sun-woo persuade Chairman Han to indulge in the meal. A nostalgic flashback shows Chairman Han demonstrating how to cook shrimp rice jeon on television—a dish that Yeon-joo has miraculously recreated. Unable to resist, Chairman Han devours the entire serving.

Despite Yeon-joo's admission of defeat, Chairman Han decides to allow Jungjae to remain open. Yeon-joo admits they would have simply relocated had they lost. However, on their way back, she quietly instructs Sun-woo to inform her whenever he visits his grandmother's grave.

At long last, in a moment of solitude, Yeon-joo confesses that she is sparing Beom-woo from his predicament because she harbors feelings for him. Beom-woo, moved, envelops her in a tender embrace and confesses his love in return. Just as their lips are about to meet, the tender moment is abruptly shattered by the arrival of Chun-seung and Myung-sook.

Elsewhere, Young-hye has embarked on a new venture, unveiling her vibrant food truck. Yu-jin, having resigned from Hansang, shows up to lend a helping hand, driven by his admiration for her culinary prowess. Some time passes, and Myung-sook finds herself collaborating at Chun-seung's restaurant, where her excitement reaches new heights upon seeing the lead actor from her beloved drama grace the establishment.

Elsewhere again, Sun-woo and Chairman Han make a visit to his grandmother, accompanied by a film crew. Though her tears are orchestrated solely for Producer Kim's television show, Chairman Han nevertheless agrees to return. Meanwhile, Beom-woo rectifies the situation with the restaurant owner who had inadvertently set Jungjae aflame. The owner is reunited with his restaurant, and Sun-woo pledges his unwavering support.

Cut to Beom-woo stepping into Jungjae once more, only to find Yeon-joo in the garden, much like their fateful encounter long ago. But this time, she welcomes him with open arms and a passionate kiss, painting the scene with a brush of renewed affection and fulfillment.
