Taxi Driver – Season 3 Episode 6 1

In the present day, Sung-chul confides in prosecutor Jin-woo about Dong-su's case. Jin-woo explains that the road where the accident occurred was devoid of CCTV cameras at the time, and he claims there is no evidence to identify the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, Do-gi overhears a tense conversation between Seong-uk and Dong-hyeon. Seong-uk calls Dong-hyeon his closest friend and tells him that Min-ho is never returning. The air is thick with unspoken secrets and lies.

Later, Go-eun informs the Rainbow Taxi team that Seong-uk works as a college basketball coach despite lacking any required certificates for the job. Her revelation adds fuel to the team's growing suspicion of Seong-uk's involvement in the case.

Sung-chul updates the group on Dong-su's condition and expresses his desire to stay at the nursing home with him for a while to ensure his safety. As he leaves, the remaining members discuss Seong-uk's involvement in the case, coming to the conclusion that he was the third person in the CCTV footage who attacked Min-ho.

Do-gi pays a visit to the secret gambling den inside the funeral home, determined to put pressure on Dong-hyeon. However, he discovers that the location employs a device that scans for hidden cameras. Go-eun suggests he gamble without her assistance, though he hesitates. In the end, he leaves without entering the gambling room, his mind racing with thoughts of vengeance and justice.

As Kyung-koo unveiled his dexterous card-playing skills, the team's eyes lit up with renewed hope. Do-gi, recognizing the potential in his newfound ally, decisively chose Kyung-koo to lead the mission forward.

The next day, Kyung-koo sat beside Dong-hyeon, their eyes fixed on each other as they embarked on a game of chance. Do-gi, ever vigilant, remained in the room, playing a dual role of both participant and observer. However, fate intervened when Dong-hyeon received a call and hastily left, disrupting their intricate plan.

Do-gi, not to be deterred, asked Kyung-koo to continue the game while he trailed Dong-hyeon outside. Meanwhile, Go-eun, who had been monitoring the gym's CCTV footage, noticed Dong-hyeon entering an office where cameras were not installed. She concocted a plan, disguising herself as an influencer and sneaking in to investigate.

Her attempt to enter the office was met with an empty room, but moments later, Dong-hyeon exited. The trio concluded that he was using a secret room hidden behind the office's facade.

Meanwhile, at the nursing home, Dong-su struggled with the memories of what had happened fifteen years ago to him and Min-ho. In a fit of despair, he attempted suicide by cutting his wrist. Sung-chul, alerted immediately, called for the doctors. The nurse's revelation that this was not the first time Dong-su had tried to end his life weighed heavily on Sung-chul's heart.

As he read through Dong-su's personal notes filled with memories he wanted to keep, Sung-chul stumbled upon a list of four-digit numbers and snapped a photograph of it. That night, Dong-hyeon left the gym with a bag of cash, unaware that Do-gi was hot on his trail, convinced that he was hiding something in the gym office. Meanwhile, Kyung-koo, who had been gambling all day and had already won a substantial sum of money, awaited their arrival at the funeral home where the game was about to begin - with Dong-hyeon, Do-gi, and Kyung-koo all at the table.

Do-gi and Kyung-koo conspire to deliberately lose matches, enabling Dong-hyeon to amass a colossal fortune from their winnings. In the final round, Do-gi manipulates Dong-hyeon into wagering his gym by feigning desperation. With a confident air, Dong-hyeon signs the contract and shows his hand. To his astonishment, Do-gi unveils a superior card, securing victory and legally acquiring the gym's ownership. Enraged, Dong-hyeon accuses him of cheating. The guards attempt to intervene, but Do-gi overpowers them, seizing the contract and gym keys.

Go-eun, Kyung-koo, and Jin-eon search the gym office for any hidden treasures Dong-hyeon may have stashed away. Meanwhile, Do-gi investigates Seong-uk at a basketball game. He observes that Seong-uk favors a player named Yeon-tae over the rest of the team. As Dong-hyeon appears at the game, he begs Seong-uk for assistance. Seong-uk hands him his card and departs with the team for a crucial match. Later, Dong-hyeon visits the gym and pleads with Do-gi for a single day inside the office.

After much persuasion, Do-gi reluctantly agrees. Dong-hyeon privately occupies the office for several hours before departing. The crew reviews CCTV footage and confirms his entry into a concealed room.

Sung-chul arrives at the Rainbow Taxi office and shows them the four-digit numbers from Dong-su's notes. Do-gi surmises they might be linked to vehicle registration numbers, and Sung-chul believes Dong-su was attempting to decipher the license plate of the truck that struck him. At the hospital, Dong-su uses his damaged wristwatch to communicate the registration number to Sung-chul.

That same night, Do-gi enters the gym office and discovers that Seong-uk and Dong-hyeon have been rigging basketball matches. Simultaneously, Sung-chul verifies the registration details of the truck. A flashback reveals Seong-uk stepping out of the truck that caused Dong-su's accident. The episode concludes with a glimpse of a mysterious figure in a hidden room, where wild dogs are forced to fight for illegal online betting.
