Tehran – Season 1 Episode 2 1

Amidst Tamar's turmoil, The Eagle swiftly dials into Mossad, laying bare the precarious situation. Handing over the phone, Tamar's voice trembles with apology as she vows to see the mission through, despite the clock ticking down to a mere fifty minutes.

Miraculously, Tamar regains access to the system, reviving the mission's pulse. However, fate takes an ominous turn when the body is discovered in the open, shattering the fragile veil of secrecy. The Eagle's urgent call brings grim tidings, yet Tamar, determined, insists she needs just a fraction of an hour to seal the deal. As the police sirens wail in the distance, Tamar activates "Fox on the Run," a daring maneuver to sever connections and erase traces.

The Eagle's warning to Mossad echoes with foreboding, bracing for the storm ahead. Inside, Tamar, disguised as Zhila, blends seamlessly into the workforce as they're methodically interrogated. Seizing a fleeting moment, she feigns necessity and secures a private moment with a guard, using the bathroom as a sanctuary to update The Eagle and confess her Achilles' heel—Gheysar, Zhila's lover, who holds the key to her true identity.

Meanwhile, at Tehran's nerve center, Faraz pores over footage, his eyes laser-focused on validating his theory of a body swap. His relentless pursuit leads him to scrutinize every detail, especially the identities of those elusive visitors, demanding passport checks that could unravel the intricate web of deception.

Ali relentlessly pursued Tamar's trail and triumphantly secured a testimony from the taxi driver, uncovering that the female passenger had boarded with ease, her speech flowing effortlessly. Meanwhile, Tamar found herself summoned for interrogation, where she spun a tale of her boss's unhinged screams, steadfastly denying any knowledge of their cause. However, the interrogator, a cunning strategist, deftly shifted the focus to Tamar's personal phone calls, casting a shadow of suspicion.

Sara, another colleague, lent credence to the whispers, reinforcing the belief that Tamar was somehow enmeshed in the mystery. As the interrogation intensified, the question hung heavily in the air: had Tamar and her boss clashed? The interrogator's conviction that Tamar was lying grew stronger with each passing moment, ultimately resulting in her detention for the night.

Faraz received irrefutable evidence of a switch, bolstered by the revelation of a passport swap in India. Realizing the urgency, he instructed Ali to transmit all pertinent information electronically, recognizing the necessity to hunt for a woman who had assumed Zhila's identity. Swiftly, he contacted the police holding Tamar, and she was abruptly escorted away by officers, her fate hanging in the balance.

Just as the hope of a conversation with Faraz lingered, a cruel twist unfolded. It wasn't Faraz on the other end of the line after all. It transpired that she had been summoned back home, summoned to speak with a social worker named Mozhgan, who imparted a devastating revelation: Gheysar had taken his own life, and in a final act of confession, he left behind a testament acknowledging his role in the murder of Zhila's supervisor.

This stark discovery struck Tamar like a thunderbolt, illuminating the intricate web woven by Eagle, a master of obfuscation, meticulously erasing traces to shield Tamar from the law's grasp. A sense of unease crept in, and Tamar, her trust shaken, abruptly fled the scene, her heart pounding in her chest.

Her escape was timely indeed, for as she darted away, Faraz burst into the building, his eyes scanning frantically for her. A breathless chase ensued, Tamar weaving through the streets, her resolve hardening with each step. She refused the tempting lure of Eagle's car, evading his grasp with a deftness born of desperation. In the tumult, her veil slipped, revealing her face, and the plaster covering her nose fell away, a symbol of her vulnerability exposed.

With the coast momentarily clear, Tamar reached for her phone, fingers trembling as she dialed the number of Mossad. With a voice steadying with resolve, she declared her severance from Eagle, her mistrust of him palpable, convinced that he had been compromised.

Meanwhile, Faraz returned to the station, a mask of frustration barely concealing the turmoil within. His pleas to disseminate Zhila's image fell on deaf ears; the police insisted on letting "the fish swim willingly to the bait." Desperate and feeling cornered, Tamar sought solace, making her way to the home of a woman who, to her surprise, was none other than her aunt, a beacon of hope in her stormy journey.

With nowhere left to hide and a need for refuge, Tamar knocked on her aunt's door, seeking a sanctuary where she could regroup and plot her next move.
