The ‘Burbs – Season 1 Episode 4 1

During a wine night, Lynn vents about the situation, revealing that she found a psychiatric evaluation of Rob that labels him as violent. Tod also reveals that he saw Rob's name in Alison's closet. Samira confronts Rob about this, and he admits that he was friends with Alison and that his mother sent him to a counselor when she disappeared. He also says that he went to the woods to smoke a joint, as things have been a lot lately. They make up and decide to attend the block party together.

At the party, Samira meets Lauren and her friends, Lauryn and Kate (the woman Naveen met at Dinkley's in the previous episode). Lauren and Lauryn mention how well Robert is doing now, which strikes Samira as odd. Meanwhile, Kate and Naveen are about to dance when they see Megan (Naveen's ex-wife) dancing with her new beau, Naveen's dentist. Naveen talks to Megan, who tells him to stop avoiding her lawyer and finalize their divorce.

Dana tells Lynn that she has Marty's pie recipe and offers to help her make it, but she shuts the door on her. Later, Dana comes back with all the ingredients for the pie and they make it together. Lynn describes how she met Marty because of his pie, and Dana shares her own story about how she met her wife in the Marines.

Samira hears that Agnes has told Rory that she can't sell her cookies at the party. Samira confronts Agnes, who says that the event is not for non-residents. She then gets distracted by a fight between Naveen and Rob, feeling shocked when she sees a hint of Rob's rage.

Overall, this episode of The ‘Burbs is filled with emotional moments and surprises, as characters deal with grief, secrets, and relationships in their own unique ways.

Samira engages in a conversation with Megan, who shares an intriguing tale of three former friends - Naveen, Alison, and Rob - who possessed an clandestine hideout known as "The Pit." Fascinated by this narrative, Samira returns home and discovers a counseling report pertaining to Rob. Her curiosity piqued, she further delves and finds Alison's phone in Rob's drawer. Upon charging it, she stumbles upon an old voicemail from twenty years ago. It's a cryptic message from Robert, warning Alison that she'll "regret this."

At a gathering, Agnes delivers a speech about her impending retirement. However, the spotlight is soon stolen by Dana and Lynn, who arrive with their pies. Elsewhere, Tod engages in a conversation with a clearly intoxicated Naveen, who laments his regrets from "that night" and expresses a desire to apologize to Alison. Tod leads Naveen away and promptly calls Dana.

Meanwhile, Lynn sneaks a piece of pie into her walk-in refrigerator. To her horror, she discovers that it's not entirely empty - the body of Marty lies wrapped in plastic. With a sigh, she wishes him goodnight and departs.

As for Samira, she ventures into the woods and locates the trapdoor. Descending into an abandoned space adorned with pizza boxes and graffiti, she's suddenly confronted by a voice - it's Rob!
