Bill's solution is a meeting, an attempt to navigate the turbulent waters. Before he embarks on this journey, Daphne appears in his office, a warning about the upcoming meeting on her lips. Soon after, Ji-Yoon arrives, and the trio is enveloped in an awkward silence.

Meanwhile, Joan's office erupts in flames, a fiery ordeal she eventually extinguishes with a swift application of a fire extinguisher. Just as she restores the WiFi connection, a technician from the IT department arrives, and Joan urges him to read aloud some student reviews. A particularly crude review ignites Joan's fury, determined to uncover the identity of the student behind it and confront them.

As the evening unfolds, Ji-Yoon dines with Larson and his wife. However, Larson's wife reveals that she has already chosen a new candidate for the Distinguished Lecture award—David Duchovny. A celebrity name, intended to lure more students into the classroom, it's a shrewd move. Although, one might argue, Gillian Anderson would have been an even more captivating choice.

Amidst Bill's relentless Hitler jokes, he eventually holds his meeting outside the school's walls, only to find himself in a tangled web. Surrounded by students and their encouraging murmurs, he utters an apology, but its authenticity remains questionable. The entire episode has been a testament to Bill's indifference, and now, faced with the gravity of his situation, he must confront the consequences.
