Later, Alex unburdens himself to Judy, revealing a past marred by sleepwalking incidents, one of which left a scar on his hand – a scar that was witnessed during the opening scenes of the first episode, as he sleepwalked, played the piano, and inadvertently injured himself. Notably, he omitted this crucial detail during his consultation with the doctor.

As Leo and Maria visit Alex during one of his musical sessions, he shares his haunting visions with them, leading to a collective decision to enjoy dinner together in the town. Alex finds immense joy playing with the band, his spirits momentarily lifted. The next morning, Alex awakens beside Judy at the beach, where his father reveals that Paula, his ex-wife, is sending their children to stay with him for a few days.

With Judy in tow, Alex ventures to the airport to welcome the kids. They spend some quality time at Alex's childhood home, where he opens up to his father about his visions, suggesting that what plagued his mother might now be casting its sinister shadow over him too. Bea stumbles upon a hidden musical composition titled "To Estrella" in his father's childhood room, and when she inquiries about 'Estrella,' Alex's father hastily snatches the sheet away, changing the subject with a brush of his hand.

Back at his place, Alex struggles to concentrate on his own composition, now intertwined with the haunting melody of "To Estrella." Adding to his woes, he discovers his basement flooded. While Maria takes charge of the kids, Leo lends a helping hand to fix the basement. There, they uncover a grim discovery: numerous eerie cat skeletons confined within cages.

The remainder of the day is spent at Leo and Maria's, where Maria paints a portrait of Bea and Bruno. In a serendipitous twist, while searching for a toilet paper roll for Bruno, Alex stumbles upon a portrait of Maria breastfeeding a child – a revealing detail given Leo and Maria's infertility struggles. He later confides this surprising find to Judy, who visits him later in the evening.

Judy suspects that the artwork might merely mirror Maria's innermost wishes, yet Alex interrupts her thoughts by revealing that a different name had been inscribed on it—Alicia Blanchard. As the night deepens, Alex awakens and heads to the lighthouse, where a faint network connection allows him to delve into the name etched on Maria's painting. His search unearths an article detailing a Brazilian couple, Alicia Blanchard and Alvaro Requena, who had vanished at sea when their sailboat sank. Suddenly, the wail of police sirens pierces the night, prompting Alex to bolt towards his home. Along the way, he notices a damaged fence, a clear sign that he is once again ensnared in one of his vivid visions.

He trails the police to Leo and Maria's residence, where a grim discovery awaits—both are found deceased. Regaining consciousness, Alex finds himself in the couple's bathroom, narrowly escaping detection as Leo stirs, searching for signs of disturbance.

Returning to his abode, Judy awakens, inquiring about Alex's whereabouts. He admits to her that he deceived the doctor but remains tight-lipped about the details. As he prepares to depart, Judy repeats the identical warning she has uttered in his visions: to avoid leaving the house at 2 a.m. The episode concludes with Alex confiding in Judy that her mother possessed the extraordinary gift of foresight.
