Published: Apr 14 2026

Episode 7 of "The Miniature Wife" begins with Les having a dream where Lindy is restored. In his dream, she calls him a fraud, just like her, and says he will end up alone. He wakes up to the sound of Lindy's voice, realizing that she has taken over the house's intercom system. Lindy makes sure that he doesn't get a wink of sleep all night. In the morning, she torments him as he showers and promises to keep him hostage in the house, ordering him enough tissues to last him for 192 days. She warns him not to call the police since it would be difficult to explain what had happened to her.

Afterwards, Les leaves for work, but he is distracted, causing Martin to worry. Hilton has already moved up the investor presentation to the next day, giving them only 24 hours to figure out the restoration formula. Les still has hopes of winning a Nobel Prize, but Martin warns him that their only future is prison if he fails.

Back at home, Terry calls Lindy and asks her to tune in to the "Today" show. Apparently, they are hosting Jackie, and she will most likely talk about the plagiarism issue. Meanwhile, Stephy wakes Lulu up and asks her to watch the show. Lulu is annoyed when Jackie insists that Lindy is the author and is enamored with her. Terry and Lindy are relieved, and Jackie's lawyer warns Terry to be ready to pay for Jackie's cooperation. After the interview, the trolls turn on Lulu without hesitation.

In the lab, Les realizes that he needs the cob to last three minutes without blowing up to achieve limitless stabilization. The problem is that he doesn't know the right equation to achieve this. Vivienne offers to let him stay at her place if he needs rest, but Les informs her that he can't sleep there since Lindy is expecting him home.

After witnessing Lulu's unfortunate encounter with internet trolls, Lindy reached out to her. Stephy then convinced Lulu to return home and open up to her mother. Lulu was taken aback when she saw her mother, and they began an honest conversation about their one-sided resentment. They soon realized that they had a lot in common. Lindy admitted her mistakes, and Lulu confessed that she had read the "Darling Daughter" story and believed that Lindy hated her. Lindy clarified that she was merely channeling her own strained relationship with her mother. Lulu then opened up about her hatred for science and the fact that she was about to be expelled from college.

Meanwhile, Richard was losing hope until he received a call from Janet. She updated him on everything and asked him to call Les and get him back on track. Vivienne overheard the conversation and asked why Janet seemed so happy. They bonded over their shared love for taken men.

On the other hand, Les went shopping and considered buying mousetraps to get Lindy's attention. He was startled when he returned home to find Lulu talking to Lindy. Lulu tore into him for lying, and Les blamed Lindy. The two started arguing, but Lulu let them be.

Lindy told Les that they needed to be better parents and assist Lulu as she vomited in the bathroom. Later, they agreed to fix things and try to be a better family. Lindy claimed that she believed Les would figure it out, assuring Lulu that everything would be okay and that she could leave for school.

After Lulu left, Les and Lindy dropped their act and started arguing again. Les insisted that Lindy wanted to destroy his relationship with Lulu. Lindy was shocked by this assumption, especially since she had told Lulu it was an accident. She added that he deserved to face Lulu's disappointment, which angered him. He grabbed her and held her over the toilet, nearly flushing her down the drain as she dared him to do so. Thankfully, she managed to escape before he could find her.

Meanwhile, as Lulu departed for school, Les was engaged in burying their beloved pet bird outside. Richard finally emerged from the shadows and apologized for his infatuation with Lindy. Les breathed a sigh of relief to hear that the two had never slept together. The duo swiftly reconciled and refocused their efforts on the restoration formula. Richard cautioned Les to remain vigilant, as Lindy would be after him. To which Les replied, with anticipation in his voice, that he couldn't wait for her arrival.

Here's a more expressive and vivid rendition of the same scenario:

Lulu departed for school, leaving Les buried in grief as they interred their beloved pet bird outside. Richard, finally revealing his true self, apologized for his infatuation with Lindy. Les felt relieved to hear that the two had never crossed that line. The duo swiftly buried the hatchet and refocused their energies on the restoration formula. Richard warned Les to stay on his toes, as Lindy would be after him. But Les, with a spark of excitement in his eyes, replied that he couldn't wait for her arrival.
