Concurrently, as Seok-cheol and Seok-hee indulge in their romantic escapades, Seok-kyung's mischievous best friend drops by, peddling a get-rich-quick scheme involving a "car pawnshop" that promises a staggering 100 million won within a year. Though tempted by the allure of easy money, Seok-kyung stands firm in her decision to return home.
Elsewhere, Seok-kyung's mother dreams of her fleeing once more, prompting her to urgently call Seok-hee and Seok-cheol, announcing her immediate departure to reclaim Seok-kyung. In response, Seok-cheol delegates Byeong-soo to represent him, while Seok-hee and Ki-hong venture out to fetch their mother. Upon their arrival at Seok-hee's residence, they discover that Seok-kyung has vanished, already on her way out. She phones Seok-cheol to express her regret, which he graciously accepts. Seok-kyung boards a bus, bound for an undisclosed locale, as Seok-cheol and Mi-young share tender moments, confessing their mutual affection.
Just when the narrative seems set, a dramatic reversal unfolds: in the dead of night, Seok-kyung returns home, startling everyone from their slumber and igniting her father's rage, as the episode draws to a cliffhanger.
