In the fourth episode of the first season of The Power, Tunde embarks on a perilous journey to Saudi Arabia, a land where the manifestation of girls' supernatural abilities has been deemed illegal. Defying the strict ban on journalists entering the country, he sneaks in under the guise of a student visa, determined to expose the impact of these oppressive laws on the female populace.

As he traverses the streets, he witnesses a disturbing scene: men brutally beating women caught exercising their forbidden powers. Amidst the chaos, Tunde captures on film a remarkable sight - women banding together to encircle and protect a young girl from the wrath of her attackers. When the police intervene, one courageous girl lashes out, electrocuting an officer with her latent ability. The officers flee in terror, and the women rush the injured girl to safety in a nearby hospital.

The remaining women, emboldened by their act of defiance, take to the streets in protest. Tunde's camera rolls as they unleash their powers, electrocuting any man who dares to oppose them. When the police retaliate with gunfire, the women rush to the aid of their fallen compatriots, displaying remarkable bravery and compassion.

Meanwhile, other women trapped within the confines of their homes long to join the protests but are held captive by the men in their lives. It takes further acts of violence to liberate them, but once free, they eagerly begin transferring their powers to the older women, sparking a celebration in the streets.

In his report, Tunde comments that it is truly inspiring to witness the transfer of this freedom from one generation to the next. He declares that this day will forever be remembered in history as "The Day of the Girls," marking a turning point in the struggle for equality and empowerment.

As the protests swell across Saudi Arabia, the police respond with increasing violence, beating women and girls indiscriminately. In the midst of the shootings, a mother spots her son engaging in the brutality. She pleads with him to show mercy and allow the women to pass, whispering, "Heaven lies at the feet of your mother." Her words inspire other women and girls to intervene, helping to disarm and restrain the men who are swayed by their compassion. Many men ultimately choose peace, laying down their weapons and allowing the women to pass, signaling a hopeful shift in the nation's attitude towards the empowerment of its female citizens.

On the flip side, some women in Saudi Arabia startled every man they encountered. They relentlessly harassed Tunde until a determined woman named Noura intervened, defending him and guiding him away from the commotion. She sternly informed him that his role was strictly to observe and he must refrain from becoming involved.

As the time for his departure from the country drew near, Tunde returned to retrieve his belongings, only to discover they had been ransacked. Noura surmised that the government was eager to secure his footage and had likely placed him on a no-fly list. Finding another means of escape would be challenging, especially amidst the escalating street clashes.

For the night, Noura sheltered him in her friend's apartment. He offered to assist Noura if she ever needed to flee, but she was annoyed by his presumption that he understood this place after merely 24 hours. She valiantly fought for freedom, yet she refused to abandon her beloved country. While Tunde had envisioned himself as her savior, it was evident that she had been his all along.

Meanwhile, Allie tested the limits of her mind-hijacking abilities on the convent's chickens. However, she overstepped the mark and accidentally caused the demise of one. Veronica, witnessing this gruesome scene, insisted to Maria that the girls' powers were evil and devilish. She harbored a particular distrust towards Eve. Maria, however, sensed something exceptional about her and believed she had the potential to lead. Nevertheless, Veronica was eager to see her gone once the storm had passed.

Later on, Allie boldly demonstrated the profound nature of her abilities to the other girls. Grasping a lifeless bird in her palms, she invoked her power and miraculously brought its heart back to a steady rhythm. Maria, too, stood in awe, witnessing this remarkable feat.

With a sense of purpose, Allie imparted wisdom to the girls. She explained that their supernatural gifts were not mere coincidences but rather blessings bestowed upon them for a reason. The world had transformed, and they must embrace their newfound abilities as necessities for survival.

When one of the convent girls suddenly succumbed to a seizure, Allie swiftly intervened, harnessing her healing powers to quell the spasms. Another girl, armed with a camera, captured the moment as Allie calmed the convulsing girl.

However, Veronica's disapproval of "Eve's" actions remained steadfast. She sternly informed Allie that it was time for her to depart, but Allie refused to comply, and the other girls rallied behind her in solidarity.

Bernie revealed to Roxy that he had avenged her mother's death by eliminating one of the perpetratorss, but it was not enough for her. There were two men involved, and Roxy vowed that she would not rest until both of them had paid the ultimate price for their crimes.

After spending some time at the club alongside her brothers, Terry and Darrel, Roxy made a resolute decision to hunt down the killer of her mother, all by herself. Despite their best efforts to dissuade her, her brothers were powerless to stop her, and so they followed suit, trailing behind her determined steps.

Arriving at the perpetrator's lair, Roxy unleashed her powers in an attempt to end his life. He begged for mercy, while her brothers frantically tried to pull her away. But Roxy was beyond reason, her anger and vengeance overriding any sense of restraint. She let loose all her power, intent on killing him, while his horrified family watched helplessly from the window.

In the midst of the chaos, Terry suddenly cried out in pain as a bullet found its mark.

As Tunde prepared to depart Saudi Arabia, he delivered a sombre yet hopeful report. It was the dawn of a new era for the country, he declared, but liberation always comes with a price. "For every action, there is a reaction," he cautioned, mindful of the consequences that would follow. He was determined to ensure that the cost of this liberation would not be too steep, clinging to the belief in the inherent goodness of people.

The episode drew to a close with the sight of someone picking up Tunde in a car, whisking him away from the country, leaving behind a trail of unsettled dust and unanswered questions.
